Introduction
Hi, my name is Shannon , I'll be 55 this month and I live about 15 minutes East of Seattle WA. I no longer work in either of my fields, sadly. I'm an aircraft mechanic, by trade, went back to school for Engineering Technician and did each of those for about 10 years a piece. In 2018, I survived two strokes and can't help but think that I'm still here for a reason. ... If only I could figure out what that is! I live on beautiful Lake Sammamish with my 12 year old dalmatian who suffers from diabetes and went blind 2.5 years ago from diabetic cataracts. My world revolves around him...🐾 You can ask me questions about: ANYTHING. I'm an open book and really enjoy in depth conversations as opposed to simple small talk. I want to get these things from ADHD Harmony: Being mechanic minded, I think in terms of having the right tools for every job. Therefore; •I desperately need an entire new set of tools because the set I've used my whole life, is no longer useful for some reason • i really need to know a few fundamental things relating to the changes I've run into these last 8 years or so • And lastly, how to overcome these new obstacles

@Melinda Stanners While on active duty, my aircraft was the P-3 Orion. It is a 4 prop airplane similar in size to the army's c130 cargo plane. Except the navy uses them as submarine chasers. After I was discharged, I worked at 3 or 4 third party repair stations in the hydraulic components shops, then finally I went to work for Boeing and assembled the nose sections on 767 aircrafts...

Thank you so much. My heart breaks for him. Life can be so cruel to the innocent
Hi everyone 👋
My name is Elena Thompson. I’ve been dealing with long-term tinnitus for quite a while, and through that journey I’ve become really interested in how our brains and nervous systems work especially things like focus, stress, and sensory sensitivity. I joined this community because I’m curious to learn more about ADHD experiences and how people manage things like attention, overwhelm, and daily routines. In my free time I enjoy learning about health, nervous system regulation, and simple habits that improve quality of life. I’m also someone who appreciates meaningful conversations and shared experiences. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and connecting along the way. 😊

Nice to meet you. I also have tinnitus, sometimes very debilitating. I was an aircraft mechanic for many years. My eardrum was ruptured on a ground pressure check during a preflight inspection. Our flight engineer turned up the cabin pressure too quickly,. It didn't heal properly. About 10 years ago, it was so bad, at nighttime especially, I had actually confronted a neighbor of mine on the middle of the night because i thought they were playing video games extremely loudly. I swear the pressure i was feeling in my ears came from an external source. I was so embarrassed when he said, he didn't even own a video game console and it was dark and didn't in his apartment.

This will be my 4th growing season in a row. I've found gardening to be so therapeutic for me. Does anyone else find this to be true for you? Here are a few pics from 2025

Today is day 5. But first, read this if you're behind. We started this week with over 200 of us showing up live. Some of you have been here every single day. Some of you watched Day 1 and then life happened. Some of you missed a day, felt the guilt kick in, and that familiar voice started whispering: "See? You can't even finish a free challenge." That voice is lying. It's running old code. Outdated software telling you that falling behind means failing. It doesn't. Everything is still there waiting for you. Every session, replay, AI question. Nothing has expired. The classroom has it all, organized step by step. And if you sat down today or this weekend and gave yourself about two hours, you could watch every replay and answer all 15 AI questions. That's it. Two hours to unlock your full personal transformation report, that might just change how you see yourself and honestly completely change your life like it did for many. And you have the entire weekend to do it. No rush. No pressure. Just you, the replays, and the AI questions at your own pace. This is your chance to prove to yourself that you can actually finish. Not because someone is forcing you, but because you chose to come back. That alone breaks the cycle. That alone rewrites the story of "I never follow through." And that full report? It only gets created when you complete all 15 questions. If you're sitting at Day 1 or Day 2 right now, your report is waiting for you. And believe me... it's worth it. So here's what to do: 1. Go to the classroom 2. Start where you left off 3. Watch the replays (you can even do 1.5x speed) 4. Answer your AI questions using voice, it helps you go deeper 5. Do the micro-tasks, they take minutes not hours Don't try to make it perfect. Just press play and start. Messy action beats perfect inaction. Every single time. Remember what we said on Day 1: if you fall behind, just come back. The people in that testimonial video? They almost quit too. They came back. And it changed everything for them.

@Katie U I'm in a similar situation. This week has not been kind to me either and I too have missed all the live streams except for about the first 20 minutes of day one. So I am working on video two now of the replays
What kind of music do you listen to when you need to focus? 🎧
Drop in the comments below. I will use this as inspiration for new music in the Harmony AI Platform.
