Want to get sh*t done, for real?
Of course, there is no one solution that works for all. But there is one, that works surprising well for a lot of folks with ADHD. And that is body doubling. If you haven't heard of it so far: you basically meet (virtually or in person doesn't matter) with other people for a work session. Everybody states what they are going to work on and then it's quiet work time, until the session is done (or, if it is a longer session, there might be a short check-in in between). The accountability that comes from having told others what you gonna do, plus knowing that they are there, seeing you, helps incredibly well to make you actually do the work. It's the single most effective strategy for me to get things done. Other strategies are also good, but nothing beats the body doubling for me. And as it happens, this skool community offers exactly that. During the week, there are two time slots for body doubling, called "Eat the Frog" sessions. If you haven't tried it before, don't be shy and join! All you have to do is think about a task you want to work on for the session, and then join and have the group holding you accountable for actually doing it. Just go to the calendar section, there you will find the links to join. I personally am joining the early morning group (although it's afternoon for me), and we have a nice little community vibe going there with @James Sopp, @Venessa Phipps, @Sarah Hyland, @Angela Walker, @Alfred Samuel, and me. Of course, we do not all show up all the time, depending on availability. It's not a *must*, it's a *may*! We would love to have some more people joining! The later session is great, too! Don't be shy, give it a try! Next sessions are on Monday. Add it to your calendar, so you don't miss it. See you there.

I have achieved so much more using the sessions. It great seeing the same people a few times a week and thank you @Verena Venus, @Angela Walker, @Venessa Phipps, @James Sopp and @Alfred Samuel for the early sessions group
Things got a little hotter for me today šŸ”„
Joining in our daily coworking session, along with @Sarah Hyland, @Angela Walker, @Venessa Phipps & @Verena Venus, I set the intentions for the hour of continuing my interactions, and community engagement, and as I did this, suddenly something appeared at the end of my name šŸ”„ This may not mean as much to others, but to me me it's quite a big deal, as it means I have remained consistent at turning up, and have given something back to a community that I feel blessed to have found, and so I just wanted to say thanks to you all. āœØšŸ‘

Sci-fi vs Reality: Brain Connections
So I have been meaning to make this post about rebuilding damaged and broken neuro-pathways but then the last few days something was shifting in me. My brain, body, spirit were utterly EXHAUSTED. Then yesterday I woke up with a huge freaking clarity shift and energy surge, then had a call with @Bill Widmer then a deeply healing reiki attunement aftet that. And then I was exhausted again. But not a depleted exhaustion this time...more a multiple layers of my being were shifting and integrating with each other to make way for growth and change. And then today I was still in recovery and integration mode, so I allowed myself to just breathe and exist most of the day and didnt do anything business related. Lots of time with my son outdoors and then a playdate with a friend and her little boy and noe i am finally ready to share this information! I previously mentioned that I met a mushroom grower on Saturday and we had spoken about Lion's mane mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus). (Those who know me. Know I know herbs and spices but fungi, are a bit of a massive fascinating mystery to me still) I knew that lions mane supported cognitive function, that it helped boost memory and lesson brain fog as well as settle some anxious triggers....but I had no idea how! What Phytochemical compound caused this and how did that component create this effect?! Upon discussion and then secondary research to support this entire conversation i learned that it isn't just a chemical balance that happens but something FAR COOLER that almost sounds like sci-fi!!! Within lions mane are two AMAZING freaking Phytochemical, hericenones and erinacines, that stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and full blown nerve regeneration! What this means is those of us who have experienced a TBI, or traumatic events that altered our brain function, those of us who may have experienced loss of neuron connections through substance abuse even can recover those lost pathways and actually HEAL our brains through extended use of Lions mane!!!

@Alison St. Romain I have been taking a mushroom blend for a long time but in the summer I started Bacopa Monnieri it took about 16 weeks to notice a difference but my focus has definitely improved

From 0 to 79 in 3 months and from 79 to 105 in 3 days! Found a pro in Facebook Ads and it skyrocketed the amount of signups for my community! More new members in 3 days than the entirety of Januari all together for a couple of bucks! If this keeps up I'm at 1000 in 90 days & I see no reason for it slowing down in fact, it's only gonna get better from here. Want to thank everyone here who supported me on the journey so far ā¤ļø
