Creative edge.. reboot!
This is my inspiration for the day. I don’t like Valentines Day, but I’ve decided to focus on the positive. I managed some triathlon training today. 45 k bike ride with a short 3k run. For once I did listen to my body telling me to take it easy on the run part. Could I have gone an extra 2k on the run? Probably. But for once I didn’t push past my limits; that’s a victory for me and I’m proud of myself for that. Listening to your body will make it easier to avoid injuries. Anyway, I decided to use a little Bridget Jones humour in order to celebrate on my own Valentine’s Day. So my running on the treadmill with my phone, dropping it and almost tripping on the cat says it all! #fitnesscoach #fitnessatanyage #transformation #fitnessmotivation #nutrition #triathlon #neurodivergent #audhd

Ritalin, my experience..
So, yesterday I tried Ritalin for the first time because I was overwhelmed from my mail inboxes. For 3 weeks I avoided them all like a plague. In just 4 hours after taking it I cleaned all of them no problem at all. I even reorganized all of my 3 inboxes and it was in a sort of next level hyper-focus. I've written down what I experienced, here's what happened: 1. I was able to resist impulses much better, they still came but there was like a window where I could decide to act on it or not. Normally it feels more like a compulsion 2. My handwriting improved right away 3. Colors were a bit more intense for me 4. I was clear headed, there wasn't any background noise going on in my head. It was silent but for one stream of clear thoughts There were some negative effects as well: 1. Muscles tensed up a bit faster for me, especially for my eyes and shoulders 2. Got hungry faster & needed more bathroom trips 3. After the meds were off I was feeling chaotic But I got to tell ya, if I could operate from that place every day. Life would be a walk in the park... Because of this experience I will now get my official diagnosis, I already started the process but I ADHD'ed around it. I also had a long conversation with a friend of mine who also has ADHD and he's on medication as well & he says the same. A different world. So I'm going on a new adventure to go into the care system and see what happens! I'll be sharing my progress with you guys. P.S. Anyone know that movie Limitless? That's what it felt like.

Sci-fi vs Reality: Brain Connections
So I have been meaning to make this post about rebuilding damaged and broken neuro-pathways but then the last few days something was shifting in me. My brain, body, spirit were utterly EXHAUSTED. Then yesterday I woke up with a huge freaking clarity shift and energy surge, then had a call with @Bill Widmer then a deeply healing reiki attunement aftet that. And then I was exhausted again. But not a depleted exhaustion this time...more a multiple layers of my being were shifting and integrating with each other to make way for growth and change. And then today I was still in recovery and integration mode, so I allowed myself to just breathe and exist most of the day and didnt do anything business related. Lots of time with my son outdoors and then a playdate with a friend and her little boy and noe i am finally ready to share this information! I previously mentioned that I met a mushroom grower on Saturday and we had spoken about Lion's mane mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus). (Those who know me. Know I know herbs and spices but fungi, are a bit of a massive fascinating mystery to me still) I knew that lions mane supported cognitive function, that it helped boost memory and lesson brain fog as well as settle some anxious triggers....but I had no idea how! What Phytochemical compound caused this and how did that component create this effect?! Upon discussion and then secondary research to support this entire conversation i learned that it isn't just a chemical balance that happens but something FAR COOLER that almost sounds like sci-fi!!! Within lions mane are two AMAZING freaking Phytochemical, hericenones and erinacines, that stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and full blown nerve regeneration! What this means is those of us who have experienced a TBI, or traumatic events that altered our brain function, those of us who may have experienced loss of neuron connections through substance abuse even can recover those lost pathways and actually HEAL our brains through extended use of Lions mane!!!
I created the community I needed
Couldn't find a space where: • ADHD was understood, not fixed • Weird working styles were normalized • Emotional intensity was welcomed • Hyperfocus was celebrated So I built it. Best business decision ever. What did you create because you couldn't find it in the world?
