Opt-in validity for SMS compliance?
I was chatting with a guy yesterday who calls leads to verify and prequalify them before selling them to installers in various industries, and was telling him about the database reactivation system. When I mentioned that we only reach out to leads who have opted in within 365 days or less, he said that opt-ins are only valid for 90 days in the US. Anybody know anything about this? I'm looking through Twilio's documentation for specific information on this but haven't been able to find anything about opt-in validity yet, hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction!

@Andrew R thanks for this! Since he calls his leads as soon as they opt in vs texting them, he said he once called a lead over 90 days after they had first opted in (and then never picked up), and was yelled at by the guy saying that it had been a while since he'd filled out their form, and that he would sue them. Turns out he didn't sue anyone thankfully, but it got my guy worried and now he wants to know how people are texting leads who opted in 6-12 months prior. I theorized that people generally have the option of simply ignoring or unsubscribing from a text message vs being called in the middle of something and so SMSes aren't as offensive to some people as calling is, but told him I'd also circle back with a more legit answer as well. So I'm sitting here trying to do my homework and wondering how everyone here is doing it :)

@Ron Gibson do you mean Conversation AI? It looks pretty stellar and I can't wait to play with it more once the auto-reply feature is available- although I do wish it would pull and post data directly from/to GHL calendars to make the appointment booking process more seamless (vs simply offering up the URL). We ended up building our own in-house booking bot to do just that- but it definitely wasn't a straightforward process.

@Richard Graf can I ask what you like about it?
A2P
Hello all, I was recently familiarized with A2P and found it as another obstacle. Does anyone have ways to get around it or do you just delay the DR for new clients? Thanks 🙏

I struggled with getting mine approved for months before using Extendly's free A2P snapshot. It came with a walkthrough plus exact verbiage to put on all opt-in forms, and it worked like a charm (got mine approved in about 5 days).
Question For DR Experts!
What happens after we run out of people in our client's database? Let's say we find a client with a 10k list, we run DR for them, and after 3 months we reached out to everyone.... What happens after that? Do we run DR again? Is this the end of my client's contract with me?

I am assuming you'd run it again with a new offer, but I'm definitely no expert :) Curious to see what others are doing to retain DR clients as well since I will be pitching DR services next week!
Extendly?
Hi Everyone, Has anyone used Extendly for onboarding new clients or used any of their snapshots? Thinking about purchasing one of them to cut down on my setup time but wanted to get some feedback from anyone thats used them before.

I'm a huge fan of their WL tech support (my clients love them), but haven't used their onboarding services yet. I've only heard good things though
