Quick lunch poll for the builders here
Do you take a real lunch break…or work right through it? I try to take lunch off, but I also love a learning lunch. I’ll put on a YouTube video on my iPad and learn something while I eat. It feels like a nice reset in the middle of the day. Today’s learning lunch video was this 12 Week Year video, and I think I found my new aspirational YouTuber.πŸ‘‡https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=258_G7k4IVg I'm curious about your lunchtime routine... What do you usually do at lunch? Vote in the poll and tell us what you watched or learned today!

Are you in way too many Skool communities like I am? πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
Then this quick tip is for you. On a desktop/laptop, you can drag and drop your communities to reorder them. Not on mobile, but on your computer, it works beautifully. This is a total game-changer if you are constantly visiting many communities! Huge thank you to @Lise Lively for sharing this with me! Here’s the short clip if you want to see it in action: Raise your hand below, πŸ‘‹, once you have rearranged yours. https://us06web.zoom.us/clips/share/mbkPaobtQreIVWMMkvJmwA This should strengthen your flow on Skool!

I just finished editing the communities I have pinned on my sidebar... the ones I've had there for awhile weren't being used. I need to go through and rearrange my communities again so that the ones I engage in the most are closer to the top. Thanks for the tip!
If you are building on Skool
and you are not engaging inside Skoolers and other Skool communities, you are missing out. I just checked my data. Last 30 days: 74 signups. 58 of them came from the Skool network. Not YouTube. Not ads. Not some complex funnel. Skool. This is the exact data I am now using to adjust my 12 Week Year. I originally thought I needed to grow YouTube to bring in new Skool members. That was the plan. Optimize thumbnails. Study retention. Push harder. It's been a brutal 8 weeks! But the numbers told a different story. I can add new members here, inside Skool, far more efficiently. I am in flow. It is working better than I expected. So now I see clearly: the time I was so worried about optimizing YouTube needs to be spent creating strong videos for my classroom. I can't wait for this section of my Skool to come alive! Those videos can still live on YouTube. But YouTube is not the end game. The classroom is. Community is. If you are on the Hobby plan like I am, that is okay. That is a financial decision. You do not need the highest tier to grow. You need time to collect data and clarity on what is actually working. Data removes emotion. Data sharpens focus. For me right now, Skool is the growth engine. Are you building where your numbers are pointing you?

@Sybil Hall Ya, I'm right there with you on all of it! I'll have to think about adding a module in my classroom for my YouTube videos too. Skool is definitely where I want to be and like you, it's where I feel the most energized and aligned.

@Sybil Hall I definitely agree with that! There's just so much more possibility here rather than the hustle and grind way that the high ticket coaches peddle in their systems LOL
Did you move your body today? Did you get outside?
Because this is not just a nice idea. It is biology. Just 20 minutes in nature can lower cortisol, the hormone connected to stress. Sunlight helps regulate your circadian rhythm and boosts serotonin, which supports mood. Even light movement like walking or biking improves blood flow to the brain and sharpens focus. It is one of the simplest ways to reset your nervous system. Today it was 70 degrees in the middle of winter here in Colorado. So my husband and I grabbed our ebikes and rode to a nearby state park. Then we walked the dog along our creek path after we got home. I am so grateful for this nature at my doorstep. And honestly, I am grateful to myself for choosing to buy property near trails and open space. That was intentional. Nature is a healer and it is free. Income without burnout only works if you protect the fuel. Before the day ends, step outside for 10 minutes. No phone. Just breathe and move. Then come back and comment: I went.
