Importing STL files
Often times I want to 3D print an STL file, but before doing to I would like to modify it in some way (ie add something to it, cut parts of it away, makes holes in it etc) I noticed I can't import an STL into a plasticity file, however i can drag and drop an stl file into the plasticity window and it will load the 3d geometry. This geometry is really only a reference though as I can't directly edit it, nor will it export with anything that I create in plasticity. Could I request better support for STL files in future versions?

Indeed, this is one of the things you can't do in the trial version. Its the reason that I bought plasticity , but it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for the info; but like many people ,the manual is the last thing you look at; however as you say , in the manual it says you can ,but not how it can be treated ;now I'll start to read a bit further .
