Some Of The Most Mojo Wisdom You'll Read Outside Of Ronin
This Substack post of Charlie Garcia interviewing asset protection attorney Hillel Presser is outstanding. Every lesson is Gold, and you can see Travis's Mojo philosophy everywhere in Hillel's words. Lesson 1: No Is a Timestamp, Not a Verdict Lesson 3: Own Nothing. Control Everything Lesson 7: The Three-Dollar Rule (use this yourself, and if you have children or grand children make sure you read Lesson 7 with them. It will change their lives and they will thank you forever) Lesson 11: Pick a Good Wife, Have a Good Life (@Travis Sago is proof of this) Lesson 12: The Words You Speak Matter Lesson 13: Time Is the Only Asset You Cannot Retitle This post and the videos in contains is worth bookmarking and coming back to. https://charliepgarcia.substack.com/p/hillel-presser-asset-protection-own-nothing-control-everything?triedRedirect=true

How I got free access to a $30k/month flow
"Nobody ever asked." That's what she said when I asked if any restaurant had ever paid for referrals. 600 guests a month. Walking into a city they don't know. Hungry. Lost. Credit card ready. And the restaurant next door never thought to ask. I was just visiting family. My wife's aunt owns a 48-room hotel. She told me she wanted to grow the hotel, so I started asking questions. She told me guests would ask "where can I eat around here" every single day. That was my tell. I opened my laptop. Over the weekend, with beer and Claude, I built a local concierge page. She gives me credentials. I make it live. Deal I proposed: "I build it. I maintain it. You pay nothing. When partners start paying for placement - we split." She said yes before I finished. Here's why that structure works: I had zero leverage walking in. So I went in free. Delivered first. Now I negotiate from value proven, not value promised. She's not in the "room" business. She's in the "people distribution" business. I'm in the ACO business. One hotel = 2-3k/month, fully automated. My city alone has 58 more in the same category. You don't need to own the road. You need a toll position on a road that already has traffic. Nobody ever asked that restaurant. I just asked first. What's flowing right past you today that nobody's bothered to monetize? (If you do it too, I'm happy with a 10% cut :)

@Leandro Langeani nice idea, a new version of Travis's printed take away menus. Well done

@Raden Yunos my daughter's skating club used to run a hotdog stand outside license venues for fundraising, and they cleaned up. Turns out selling to a hungry, starving crowd without any competition was a license to print money (hat tip to Gary Halbert).
CDOD help me spin it
how do I transition this to some PSM style instead of the auction?

@Tom Curtis yes, passive aggressive, condescending, shaming and using the word "impact" as their only KPI are 4 deal killers
CDOD: New Outreach Opportunity
Hey hey fellow Ronin, I did reach out to the toy industry expert but didn't hear back. Yesterday she did a masterclass on how she's using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. It was informative and she definitely isn't lacking in personality! As an attendee, she sent out this survey to me just a few minutes ago: Hey, Thank you so much for joining yesterday's masterclass, the questions and energy in the room made it so much fun to teach. A few people in the chat asked about the AI prompts and Skill files I demoed. So, I'm thinking about packaging them up as a standalone resource, organized by use, with context on how to use them. Would that be something you'd actually use? Before dedicating time to it, I genuinely want to know if it's something you'd want. Hit reply and let me know. Even a one-word answer helps a ton! Thank you, NAME Here's how I am planning to reply: Hey NAME, Coaches often demo tools and processes inside a masterclass... Then survey their audience and get signals that indicate desire... Only to put in the time to make it available and the sales don't translate to demand... We’ve been running 5 and 6-figure auctions and pulling out 100 ready-to-buy now leads in under 24 hours and they tell ME how much they’re willing to spend! Then we're collecting the payment right after the auction, not only from the winner, but from up to 95 percent of the bidders too! I’ve got a bumbly loom showing what we’re doing, wanna see it? - Chad Boswell PS You can't buy anything. But after seeing the excitement in the masterclass yesterday, I think you'd clean up running an auction for BUSINESS NAME. It's a blast watching everyone placing bigger and bigger bids in the comments. It goes CRAAAAZZZY. I know peeps really dig what you're offering! Thoughts or feedback before pressing send? - Ronin Chad

Hey Chad, she’s given an opening but your reply is pretty impersonal (coaches) and doesn’t talk about her masterclass or her promo and skills offer. Seems disconnected from what she wants. Coming at it from the angle of, “I was thinking about your AI prompts offer and it might be perfect for something we’ve been doing that is generating dozens or even hundreds of ready to buy leads and 5 or 6 figures in sales over the next couple of days. I’ve got a bumbley loom showing how it works, would you like to see it? Just more focused on what she is doing rather than “coaches” and “then survey their audience”. Not sure
CDOD: Outreach question
I've got a toy industry coach I want to reach out to. She's running ads on Facebook and I've seen some of them come across my feed. One ad has been going since August '24. I've got two struggles. My first struggle is the only email I can find is an info@ email. I'm sure she doesn't directly open those as she has a team that helps her. So, I'm feeling stuck on a subject line that could break through and end up getting forwarded to her directly. I was thinking "Dumb idea?". I also know naming her baby in the subject line is something that is recommended in CDOD. Gemini recommended I say something specific about the August 24' ad to demonstrate I've done some research and not just a spammer. My second struggle... I want to nail down a present pain around ad spend because I know FB ad costs aren't getting cheaper in 2026. I just don't know enough of the specific pain point coaches are experiencing running FB ads today. Any guidance would be appreciated! -Ronin Chad
