Contemplations on movement and time.
In the context of movement (change), time does not actually exist. Upon the invention of time (language-numbers) we now have an agreement dividing the series of movements into the 'context of time'. We invent histories and extrapolations (i.e. 'future'), all which don't exist but are derived from the context of movement. We essentially live in the context of time inventing a series of now's, instead of actual Now. Can 'time-travel' actually take place? Probably not, since travel (getting from A to B) occurs objectively (physical) and is prior to the concept of time, not the other way around. We can only really 'travel' or go somewhere in physical world allowed for by the body (biological) interacting with its environment. If time does not exist, and serves only as a useful invention, then age may not exist. Just a series of biological changes. More contemplating... Thank you.

@Patrick Dinger "In time there is Now - In Now there is no time" True. 😊 I started contemplating movement and time relating to generating an ongoing flow state in life and got an insight that time-travel cannot take place since movement allows for the invention of time, a conceptual agreement (and reality) in the world where we live in as modern people.

Hi Matheus, Maybe try to experience movement as perceptive change without creating the framework of numbers (language, names, measures etc.) could be a start. Easier to do than thinking about it because it's just done! I imagine many people experience 'in the zone' or flow-states. The thought 'what time is it?', '3 o'clock already!' or 'time flies' etc. occurs after within the already created framework of time where we usually live. Consciousness work or 'contemplation' begins when intellectual deliberation ends (the end of time?) This is where doing the workshops come in (shameless plug😊). We get to work on this stuff with immediate feedback, back-and-forth sharing. The ENB and TSW come to mind. This is truly amazing stuff once the ball gets rolling 😊 Cheers, RD
Demonstrating some dodging skills
When someone tries to hit you get out of the way! During the Cheng Hsin demo in Holland I showed some dodging skills.

Is Gratitude a principle? Consequences of Gratitude
I notice that when I feel down, I may begin listing parts of my experience that I genuinely appreciate. As a result, I feel lighter. Would you say Gratitude is a principle? What does it do in your experience?

I'm experiencing/generating gratitude as more of a pleasant state (like love) serving my-self to feel good, so therefore not a principle. Completely surrendering to principles of calm and/or whole & total tends to lighten things up a lot though! 😊 Maybe more effective? Keen to hear your experience. RD
Pushing past feelings
I wanted to ask your opinions on some matter Is there always an aspect of "pushing past" feelings or drives when it comes to questioning, questioning self activities, or pushing past mental barriers? I notice when I start to question past my normal barriers, there's almost always an aspect of hesitation, even if simultaneously there is excitement or exhilaration or some such What are your thoughts?

Hi Devin, It might be good to get clear on your question (e.g. Who am I?) and stay there. Thoughts and feelings, stories, distractions etc. will certainly come up. Don't worry about it. Stay on track like a laser beam. Get conscious or die tryin', that's my 50 cents :P RD
Love as a principle
Peter talks about aligning with principles - such as honesty, mastery, etc. - instead of living from one's own "small self" (my framing), driven by fears and desires. It feels to me that love is also a principle. What I mean by love is doing something purely for the benefit of others, without any expectation of a reward. I am not really sure I can frame it as a principle, I suspect my understanding is still too vague. But there is something. I'll keep you posted :)

Good one Jakub, thanks. Love as a principle in the context of where we live: Maybe, getting another person as just that. That shape (biological entity), their stories/life, their strategies, their agendas, their uniqueness. The principle of joining is coming up. Joining the feeling charge of another's presence, join the thought of another. Unconditional joining as an operating principle may not be love anymore as we know it. Love is certainly attractive as a feeling state 😊 In the ENB workshop Peter & Brendan facilitate 'turning into' which seems relevant to human interaction vs 'it itself' which I find more applicable to non-human objects. Cheers, RD
