Does Style Reflect the Man - or Refine Him?
I’ve been wondering lately whether style is really about clothes at all (or about standards). When a man quietly raises his internal bar - how he carries himself, what he tolerates, the details he chooses not to ignore - his appearance often seems to sharpen on its own. But I’m not entirely certain. Does the internal standard shape the style… or can adopting a sharper exterior gradually refine the man wearing it? Curious to hear your thoughts.

Hello gentlemen, I’m Rasheed. A Nigerian academic who recently relocated to Brazil and am intentionally taking steps towards refining both my personal style and discipline. I believe how a man presents himself reflects how he governs himself. Glad to be here and ready to learn and contribute. Cheers!

We See You
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, As I like to reflect on my journey, my life, and what I see others doing with their lives, I begin to relate to other’s struggles, the pain, the hurt, the desire to being someone or to reach something. And one of the biggest challenges is people who don’t understand your plight, your struggles, and in relationships this is so very real. This is basically for women that are in relationships, but also for the gentlemen that feel trapped, or struggling to just make through another day. What do I wish women understood about men fine I’ll say it bluntly, men are fighting wars in their heads every day and most of you have no idea. He’s stressed, overwhelmed exhausted, and still trying to hold everything together because he knows if he cracks even once you’ll judge him for it, he doesn’t open up because every time a man does or he gets labeled weak, dramatic or not mad enough so he shuts up he bottles everything. He carries the weight alone because he learned the hard way that nobody cares about a man’s feelings until he’s broken. You think he’s quiet. He’s drowning you think he’s distant. He’s overloaded. You think he doesn’t feel he feels too damn much. He just isn’t allowed to show it. Most men are walking around with pain so heavy you couldn’t carry it for 10 minutes, but he carries it every day without complaining without crying without asking for help because he knows no one is coming. That’s what I wish. Women understood men are not cold. They’re bleeding silently. They’re just tired, tired of being punished. To the gentlemen reading this we see you, you are not alone in this struggle. To the ladies, try to understand the struggle these gentlemen face daily in work, at home, in the community you reside in. Just because they might not make the money you expect them to make, or they are not at home as much as you want them to be because they are working overtime, second jobs to provide, give them a break let them know you see them, you appreciate them, and most of all you are there for them.
