Pacific Aura by Rayhaan
Got two bottles of this for Christmas. Had it on my wishlist and my son and mom both got me a bottle. So I will be wearing a lot of this! Not a bad scent at all but it definitely doesn’t last very long at all. Oh well, with two bottles, I can afford to bathe in it!
What was your first fragrance?
I'm curious, now that I'm starting out on this journey into fragrances, what was your first fragrance? Why did you choose it? And do you still use it? (I'd like to know more about how you chose it so I can see how to choose mine, thanks for the replies btw)

I started with Polo green and moved to Drakkar Noir, and then Cool Water. Went without scent for a long time until I found Varvatos Artisan in the Heathrow airport. That scent started the obsession all over again.
Today’s fragrance…
I went with Artisan by John Varvatos today. Bright, slightly green, white floral and citrus scent. I pick up a little ginger here and there along with a hint of musk. Really beautiful fragrance with one significant drawback: weak performance. Cool thing is, this stuff is pretty cheap ($37 for 4.2 oz). Just throw on a few more sprays and reapply as necessary!

Still have my bottle I bought in the duty free in London many years ago. Still smells great!

@Renato Carotti sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, I’ve been on a cruise to Mexico with my family. Right now I only have Issey Miyake pour homme edt and D&G Light Blue pour homme edt. I have grown to like the Issey but the Light Blue edt I loved at first sniff. I wore the Light Blue exclusively on the cruise and did a couple of compliments but honestly I wear fragrances for me. The Light Blue just has the sweet citrus I love for summer. The Issey has citrus too but it feels more grown up. I wear that a lot to work. It’s a good inoffensive scent that nobody in the OR complains about.

@Renato Carotti it was a lot of fun and got to put my nose on a lot of fragrances in the duty free shops.
Nose blindness…
Going nose blind to a fragrance you’re wearing is a very real thing however I may be the exception to the fact. Is there anyone else who dosent seem to be affected by this very common occurrence? For some reason I am able to pick up on my daily frag throughout the entire day performance willing of course. Everyone chime in.

I do get nose blindness but I do get whiffs throughout the day if I’m really concentrating on smelling what I’m wearing.
