🤝 Why do people attend events?
We're hosting onboarding calls for our event in 2 weeks Talking to a lot of business owners and entrepreneurs Some doing 40k/mo, 80k/mo, some even 250k/mo+ All of them paid $5,000+ to attend a 2 day workshop event They work in many different fields, industries, niches They run big teams, lean teams, operate solo or as co-founders All of them are taking time out of their busy schedule to fly to Florida, grab a hotel room, and join us Why?? I've narrowed it down to two simple reasons 1️⃣ Connection ➕ 2️⃣ Value It seems stupid simple, but it's true for pretty much every event we run People take time out of their busy lives to meet people others like them Similar stories, struggles, competencies, or radically different competencies that they can learn from These connections create value for attendees And of course, value is also created by event sessions, speakers, exercises, and experiences So the next time you are hosting an event and want people to show up... Design the event to make sure you are allowing for connections that mean something, and value that changes something (no fluff!)

Thanks for sharing. And yes - in reflecting to events I have been to in the past the connections have often outlasted the information.
how russell brunson built an empire with IRL events
happy new year everyone! to kick 2026 off, i have a new style of youtube video for you... in this community, you will typically see me discuss our philosophy/strategies around in-person events, but today i am going to be talking about someone else someone that started out as a awkward tech founder, but quickly grew into one of the worlds most famous and well respected online marketing thought leaders he has millions of followers on social media, grew his tech company to 235 million ARR (as of 2023), and has become a household name in the online business & internet marketing world his name? russell brunson. his company? clickfunnels. how he built his empire? in-person events. russell brunson completely changed the game with his in-person event strategy, and that is exactly what i break down in todays youtube video remember... watch what they do, not what they say.👀 you can click the button down below to watch!

Where have you seen joy work best in real life?
IRL joy builds trust faster than content ever will. Shared experiences create belonging, momentum, and loyalty. What kinds of in-person moments have moved your community forward the most? Workshops. Walks. Dinners. Service projects. Joy isn’t extra. It’s the strategy.

Greetings from Arcturus!
Wholeness and Balanced Vibrations. My name is Ankhara and I am a father, breathwork coach, ankh alchemist, and intrepid traveler. One cool thing about me is that I helped give my daughter an unassisted home birth. No mid wife, No Doula, Just the mother of my child, me, and my mother. My favorite music is a reggae band from St.Croix called Akae Beka. I love roots music and have spent a lot of time traveling in the Caribbean. I am here to learn simple ways to grow and monetize my community. In Real Life!

Welcome!
⏰ Quarter 5 (or whatever)
I learned of "Quarter 5" recently and I must admit, it gave me a good chuckle. It's clever. For those unaware, it's a way of describing the final 2 weeks of the year, or "the holidays" as 99% of people refer to them as The idea of calling it a new quarter is to emphasize that it is a new opportunity. Just like how when Q2 ends and Q3 begins, new goals, priorities, KPIs, or whatever else, are put into focus. Q5 can bring new opportunities for those that are ready to strike during a typical "down time." On the other side of the coin though, some people look forward to the holidays so they can rest and recover. At Bullish Events, we worked on important systems for the new year and audited our business processes. Of course, we also took time last week to connect with family, rest, and enjoy some peace and white space. We're back on desk this week though... and gearing up for exciting things in 2026! How'd you spend your Q5?

I am going to adopt this!!!!!! Love it! And it’s both and for me. I have coached people for years about not waiting for Jan 1 to start a wellness plan …… so why wait with joy?
