🤝 Why do people attend events?
We're hosting onboarding calls for our event in 2 weeks
Talking to a lot of business owners and entrepreneurs
Some doing 40k/mo, 80k/mo, some even 250k/mo+
All of them paid $5,000+ to attend a 2 day workshop event
They work in many different fields, industries, niches
They run big teams, lean teams, operate solo or as co-founders
All of them are taking time out of their busy schedule to fly to Florida, grab a hotel room, and join us
Why??
I've narrowed it down to two simple reasons
1️⃣ Connection
2️⃣ Value
It seems stupid simple, but it's true for pretty much every event we run
People take time out of their busy lives to meet people others like them
Similar stories, struggles, competencies, or radically different competencies that they can learn from
These connections create value for attendees
And of course, value is also created by event sessions, speakers, exercises, and experiences
So the next time you are hosting an event and want people to show up...
Design the event to make sure you are allowing for connections that mean something, and value that changes something (no fluff!)
