I’m Away for the week with no access to a kettlebell but there’s a gym here (2 actually) so I’m Still getting my reps in.
Half Way Home!!!
We’re officially past the half way mark and I hope you’ve recognized something at this point. The things that get the ball rolling in the right direction aren’t the big sweeping changes that you may have thought you needed to make. It’s doing the simple things with a high degree of intensity and proficiency that move the needle. Remember that… There’s no big secret. And if you want me to tell you there is one, then here it is…Balance, intensity, proficiency, and consistency are what will always help you win… Take today’s workout. A simple ballistic hip hinge followed by a horizontal push, pull, and a carry to wrap it all up. If you do this with a a CHALLENGING weight in a circuit format, and you don’t dick around between rounds, you’ll put your body through a ton of the stress required to force performance and aesthetics based change! So show up to work, sign your name to your work, and don’t let up until the job is done!!! Hands Up…KEEP FIGHTING!!!

Coach, how do you feel about using different weights in a workout? For example, I snatch with 50 lbs but pressing and rowing 50 lbs with only 5 reps isn’t very taxing for me.

@Chandler Marchman thanks coach.
Week 3: Day 1
First step, clear the snow so I have an area to workout in. Second step kill the workout. 50lb bell for snatch and farmers walk, 70 lbs bell for press and row.

Diet Friendly Super Bowl Party Food
Happy Super Bowl Sunday, brothers! Hopefully this time tomorrow we will wake up to the 🦅’s being champs, but we all know the refs and Taylor Swifts witch magic will have something to say about that….Hahahahaha! Anyway, regarding what fun food you can eat to stay on track, my favorite choices are as follows: - Naked Smoked Wings - Burger either open face on healthy bread option or lettuce wrap - Deviled Eggs ….or • Big Ass Steak!!! You CAN splurge if you like. Just keep it in perspective (don’t go overboard), and be ready to get back after it tomorrow. Hands Up…KEEP FIGHTING!!!
