I can’t believe it but I lost 2 pounds! I at steak and veggies and really thought the steak was going to potential hinder my potential loss as it seemed to have a little more fat on it, but it didn’t!

Congratulations that is awesome. I have definitely seen the positive effects of making sure that I am hitting my protein levels and fiber levels.

Good morning Quick check-in… how are you feeling today? We’ve got a live training today (Tuesday) at 11am MST, and this is one that really helps people connect the dots. We’re breaking down how what you put on your skin, things like lotions, oils, sunscreen, can influence what you see on the scale. Not because it’s turning into fat, but because your skin is a major signaling organ. When certain products are applied, the body can respond by holding onto fluid and increasing inflammation… which can show up as a quick weight fluctuation. This is why someone can be doing everything right with food, then see the scale jump after something small like sunscreen. Once you understand this, it takes away the confusion and helps you trust your progress instead of second-guessing it. Water weight definitely is playing a huge part for me as I suffer from swollen legs. This is good to know that what I put on my skin could be contributing to that. I currently don't use lotions as much as I used to I do use natural oils on my skin like olive oil coconut oil and grapeseed oil.

Today was day 67 and I lost 2.2 lbs!! Truly grateful that I’m continually learning how to support my body.

I’m a FAST40 grad - here’s what I’m focused on now…
I wanted to share a little perspective and encouragement for anyone here who’s struggling or feeling stuck. Before I did the Fast 40 with Dr. Cody Goldman, I was gaining weight no matter what I did. I was trying, I was paying attention, I was working hard, and nothing was working. Between Hashimoto’s, hormone imbalance, and autoimmune issues, my body just felt completely out of sync and honestly, pretty defeating. Before I ever found Dr. Cody, I spent three months working with a nutritionist and still continued to gain weight consistently. Even before that, I was doing body conditioning and training, eating six meals a day, working out six days a week, and following what most people would consider “doing everything right.” I knew how to be disciplined. I knew how to show up. But nothing was changing, because my body didn’t need more effort, it needed the right approach. This program helped reset more than just my eating, it helped reset my mindset and my relationship with my health. Since completing it, and it’s been about three years now, I’ve stayed consistent. Not perfect, but consistent. I focus on whole foods, avoid processed and canned foods, stay away from sugary drinks, and do my best to support my body with the supplements it actually needs. More than anything, Dr. Cody taught me how to understand and recognize what my body needs. That’s the part that changed everything. This isn’t just a program to “get results”, it teaches you how to read your body so you can support it long term. Now I know that when I don’t take care of myself, I feel it. My body tells me. And when I do take care of myself, everything works better. If you’re in the middle of this or just starting, stick with it. Sometimes your body just needs the right reset and the right support to finally start responding. This really did change things for me. I tried to find my original before and after but couldn’t seem to find it. Here is the jist…
