Ready to Find Your Calm? Let’s Meditate Live!
17 members and growing… it’s time to come together for weekly Live Guided Meditation sessions! 💛 This will be a chance to meet and greet fellow members and experience a guided meditation as a community. The first session will be heart-centered, focusing on gratitude for our hearts and for those around us that we love and who love us. The session will be approximately 1 hour: - 🧘 30 minutes of guided meditation - 💛 30 minutes meet and greet (come and go as you like!) These sessions will help you: Release tension and stress- Boost your energy and focus- Feel grounded and centered. Connect with our community in a safe, uplifting space But first—I need your input! Caregivers need to be cared for too.
Do you know someone who is a caregiver? 💛 Or maybe you’re a caregiver yourself? Caregiving can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be exhausting and emotionally heavy. How do caregivers recharge, refill their energy, and care for themselves while caring for others? Share your tips, routines, or little self-care moments—let’s support those who give so much of themselves every day.

I was my dad’s primary care giver. At the time I was also working full time and going to nursing school full time. Reflecting back I didn’t advocate for myself or have any good form of self care. So to say I burnt out is an understatement. I started to resent my dad and I ended up withdrawing. I definitely wasn’t as present as I could have been in the last years of his life. I wish I would have known of Reiki and the other forms of energy work. I truly feel that it would have helped tremendously. That has become one point of emphasis when I meet another caregiver, is to find some healthy form of self care. Like @Lena Marxer said, you can’t take care of someone if you aren’t caring for yourself.

Hello! Thank you accepting me into your community. I love the idea of a meet and greet! I try to keep my nights and weekends open for my family but if everyone wants one of those times then I can make it work.
