Tonight I’m catching a plane home after 4 weeks of living like a local in Bali.
I know I won’t sleep much, so I’ll probably arrive home tired and a bit spaced out… and honestly, I’m not even sure if what I’m feeling is excitement or sadness. Probably a mix of both. I’ll miss this place. Working by the pool each morning, chatting to people, the ease of daily life. It’s been such a good experience, and it’s shown me more clearly the kind of life I’d love to be living, and what I need to change once I’m home. One thing that’s really landed for me is how important connection and being out in the world are. So when I get back, I’m making a point of being more social and getting myself out of the house, maybe that even means finding a few new coffee shops where I can work in the mornings. Now I’d love to hear from you. How is/was your weekend? And looking back on the past week, what have you learned about your life? 💜

Welcome Home! Being in a place of comfort and knowing sometimes makes it harder to see what you have around you. I always have to remind myself to go out and see my environment with new eyes. And every time I do I find more beauty!

Pure and simple beauty
Let’s normalise asking for help.
Right now in your life, where would support actually make the biggest difference? You can answer with one word, a sentence, or a list, whatever feels right. • Emotional • Mental • Practical • Direction or clarity • Permission to rest • Someone to truly understand you You don’t have to explain unless you want to.And you’re not weak for needing support, you’re human. I’ll go first… 💛

Right now what would be just amazing for me would be permission to rest. Permission to let go of all of the responsibilities for just a moment... just enough time to have a cup of tea and to sleep a bit. Then I promise I'll come back and I'll probably be better able to be who you need me to be.
We have 2 new members I would love to welcome

Welcome @Dinkayehu Mesele and @Bel Amada ! I look forward to getting to know you.
Thoughts are with others.
I had dinner with a lady from the US a few nights ago, I asked why she was in Bali and she said she was escaping the US, her husband had passed and she didn't want to spend thanksgiving there without him, so she travelled to Bali where no one would care what the date was. I send out love to all of my friends in the US who are struggling at this time of the year. My heart goes out to you with sympathy and even though I have no understanding of what that holiday represents to you, I certainly do understand the feeling of being alone and loss. Take care my friends. xxx

Thanksgiving is the start of what we call “family season” here in the States — a stretch of weeks where families gather, celebrate, and try to create happy moments together. It can be beautiful… but it can also be a tender time. Not everyone has someone to sit with at the table. Not everyone feels connected, supported, or seen during this season. So as we move through these weeks, I always try to remember the people who are spending the holidays alone... by choice, by circumstance, or by loss. They’re just as present in this world as the big, joyful gatherings… and they deserve to be held in our awareness too. A little kindness goes a long way this time of year.
What Gives You Energy?
We always talk about what drains us, the stress, the people, the routines that wear us down. But let’s flip it today. What gives you energy? What’s one thing that instantly lifts your mood or grounds you when life gets messy? It might be something simple, time in nature, dancing in your kitchen, laughing with a friend, or getting lost in a hobby. Those little moments remind us who we are underneath all the noise. Your turn, what fills your cup?

I feel like I should say time in nature or time to be creative... but when I really need a boost its my animals. They show me love is unconditional and I can give and take energy without limits!
