Tonight I’m catching a plane home after 4 weeks of living like a local in Bali.
I know I won’t sleep much, so I’ll probably arrive home tired and a bit spaced out… and honestly, I’m not even sure if what I’m feeling is excitement or sadness. Probably a mix of both.
I’ll miss this place. Working by the pool each morning, chatting to people, the ease of daily life. It’s been such a good experience, and it’s shown me more clearly the kind of life I’d love to be living, and what I need to change once I’m home.
One thing that’s really landed for me is how important connection and being out in the world are. So when I get back, I’m making a point of being more social and getting myself out of the house, maybe that even means finding a few new coffee shops where I can work in the mornings.
Now I’d love to hear from you.
How is/was your weekend? And looking back on the past week, what have you learned about your life?
