Today’s theme: Asking for what you want
This came up for me again today and it reminded me why I included this exercise a few days ago in Day 23 of the challenge, because it goes much deeper than it sounds. My story- I was never allowed to accept anything including a glass of water when we went visiting because this would inconvenience the people. This also meant I was too afraid to ask to use the toilet in case it put someone out. Ridiculous, I know, but that was my beliefs and my conditioning. When I later heard that not allowing people to give to you is actually doing them a disservice, it honestly threw me. I had lived my whole life like this, well and truly into my adult years so I had to revisit everything I’d ever been taught. That’s when so much clicked into place. I finally understood and realised why my family never gave me what I wanted, ever!!!!! even for presents. As a kid, Santa always “ran out” before he got to me. I got things, but never ever what I truly wanted. I learned very early that: - I shouldn’t ask - I didn’t deserve - And if I wanted something, I’d better get it myself Because I never said what I wanted, I believed disappointment was inevitable. Then, years later, I started seeing the same belief in clients, not always as extreme, but definitely present. Especially in women and mothers. We go without so everyone else can have what they need. And we call it love… but it comes at a cost. So now I teach this: - Ask for what you want - Tell people - Tell the universe Giving is easy for most of us. Receiving and accepting, well that’s the real challenge. Even now, I notice I sometimes struggle to recognise what I actually want. Which is why I use this exercise: Make a list of 100+ things you want. It sounds simple. It’s not. Most people get stuck around 20. This exercise gently rewires the brain. It forces you to think beyond survival and obligation and into desire, possibility, and choice. How can we manifest a life we want if we don’t even know what that is? If you’re willing to try it, comment below and let me know. I’d love to hear how it lands for you.

🌟 Welcome to The Change Makers! 🌟
You’ve just joined a community of people who are ready to do things differently. Our motto is simple:Rewrite the rules. Redesign your life. This is a space to break old patterns, share your journey, and support one another as we step boldly into freedom and create lives we truly love. ✨ To kick things off, I’d love for you to introduce yourself: - Where are you from and what do you love about it? - What’s one area of your life that you’d like support with right now? - What would you most like to get out of being in this group? Don’t be shy — this is your space. The more you share, the more you’ll get out of it. We grow faster together. 💫 I’m so glad you’re here — let’s start making some real change! 🙌 — Lorene

@Alison McIndoe hello, lovely to have you here, you are in the right place for mindset work. This is a very positive forward thinking group.
The Feel-Good Flex
Today, I’m letting myself own a win without minimising it. I’ve shown up every day. I’ve stayed extremely consistent. I’ve done the inner work, and outer work, even when it wasn’t comfortable. That matters. And yes, I’m allowed to be proud of that. Growth doesn’t always look loud, but it always counts. ✨ Your turn now, no downplaying allowed ✨ What’s one win, shift, or moment of growth you can own today, without brushing it off or adding a “but”? It can be big, small or quietly powerful. Share it here, or if you’re feeling brave, take it public. Let yourself be seen and acknowledged. You’ve earned it.

@Lauren Kinghorn I used to spend a fortune on getting my podcasts edited, now i just post then, still getting similar views, so all the money wasn't really worth it.
DAY 25 – Releasing Control + Trusting Divine Timing
Control is exhausting. And if it actually worked, you’d be relaxed by now. Today’s module is about loosening the grip and letting life meet you halfway. Releasing control isn’t giving up. It's choosing trust over fear and openness over forcing. This is where surrender becomes strength, where authenticity replaces overthinking, and where things finally get room to move. If this feels uncomfortable, good. That’s growth knocking. Soften the grip. Breath. You haven’t missed anything. You’re right on time.
