Notes from Rewire Your Brain — Train Your Subconscious Mind
I watched Haroon bhai’s Mental Mastery chapter's first video (Rewire Your Brain — Train Your Subconscious Mind) and honestly, the way he explained things makes you reflect deeply. He talked about procrastination, distraction, and how our mind sometimes feels scattered , and I could relate. Many times, life doesn’t go as we imagine, and that creates frustration. But the way he broke everything down step by step really helps open the mind and gives a direction. 1. Haroon bhai explained that to train your mind and deal with procrastination, you need to understand your thoughts clearly, and journaling is the best way to do that because it helps you see what’s going on inside your mind. 2. He talked about taking a few quiet minutes each day just to think and reflect on why you avoid work and what small steps can help you start. 3. He also explained that repeating positive habits with your heart, mind, and tongue helps your subconscious accept them. 4. Before doing any task, you should think about the pros and cons so your emotions push you toward the right action. 5. He said to imagine the feeling of finishing the work, because that emotion motivates you. 6. Another important point was extreme ownership, taking full responsibility for everything in your life without excuses. Ask yourself daily what you did to move toward success. 7. He also highlighted deep work, which means working with full focus and no distractions, because this is a superpower in today’s world. 8. Lastly, he shared the first principle theory which is to break your tasks into small, easy pieces, so you don’t feel overwhelmed and can start with confidence. Some quick tips that I learned from this lesson, I want to share are: - Remove phone notifications when doing deep work. - If you feel stuck, do one tiny piece , that’s progress. - Celebrate small wins to keep motivation up. By journaling, thinking, taking ownership, and practicing deep work, you can slowly rebuild your mindset ,even if you feel lost or things aren’t going the way you imagined.
