Spoiler Alert: You can only edit your bio so many times before you realize somethingโ€ฆ.
For YEARS I told myself I just needed to find my content style and Iโ€™ll eventually be selling things like hotcakes on Instagram. Then it was that my niche wasn't clear enough. Then I got convinced my branding wasn't cohesive or โ€œprettyโ€ enough. There was a whole year where I thought my captions weren't hooky enough. Oh and we canโ€™t forget the time I redesigned my Instagram highlight covers THREE times. Three times!! (Or moreโ€ฆ I canโ€™t even remember at this point!) Spoiler: None of those things were why my products werenโ€™t selling. The problem was that no matter how good my content got, I was still just hoping the right person would stumble across it. And the algorithm wasn't exactly helping me out. Then I found out that Meta Ads put your product in front of people who are already LOOKING for something like what you sell. No stumbling required. I wish someone had told me that YEARS and several highlight cover redesigns ago. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The Ads Corner is where digital product sellers and Skool community owners learn to run simple Meta ads from scratch. No experience needed. Small budgets welcome. 240+ members in a month. Yep, because of Meta ads! Come check it out. ๐Ÿ‘‡ https://www.skool.com/the-ads-corner/about

Do you have a rule-of-thumb for spend vs revenue that would make sense for early stage owners to spend in ads so they don't over or under spend?
Everyone is building an AI product. So we have to build one too, right?
Wrong! Not every problem requires an AI solution. We have used software for decades now without AI, and there are some really good cases where AI is an overkill. โŒ It's expensive to build. โŒ It's unpredictable. โŒ It's hard to price. But when it works, it's borderline magic. So when should you build an AI solution, and when it's not really making much sense? And how do you know??? I've built a canvas template to help you make the decision, and will share it with examples in an upcoming workshop (hosted by Uxcel) on Wednesday May 13, 2PM EDT/ 8PM CET Webinar registration link ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://lnkd.in/esQG5Czf โœ… Hands-on framework. โœ… Clear build-vs-buy decision. โœ… No hype. If you want to think holistically about your AI solution, with a structured way to make the right decision - 1. Join my community Product Traction Accelerator, and 2. "I don't do funnels, I have Skool."
I keep hearing different versions of this. Skool is better than funnels. I don't need a funnel, Skool covers it. Etc. Etc. And it's just not true. If you're trying to attract people to your community, engage with them when they get there, and guide them towards an upgrade or paid offer โ€” you DO do funnels. You're just maybe not seeing it. And the same principles apply. A funnel is a guided decision path โ€” not a template, not pretty pages, not a specific platform like ClickFunnels or Go High Level. Or even Skool. A funnel helps your ideal client navigate from where they are (stuck, frustrated, annoyed, bewildered) to where they want to be (successful, happy, calm, clear). You still need: ๐Ÿ’ฅ A spark โ€” something that inspires people to join your free community ๐Ÿ”ฅ A flame โ€” a reason for new members to become buyers โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ A blaze โ€” a mechanism for those buyers who want to go deeper ๐ŸŒŸ Glowing embers โ€” a reason for folks to stick around And if one of those layers isnโ€™t working? The whole thing feels broken. So if youโ€™re thinking: โ€œI donโ€™t need a funnel, I have Skoolโ€ ... you're probably leaving a whole bunch of opportunity and money on the table.๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ In Funnel Forensics we unravel all the different funnel stages as they relate to Skool. So you can find your gaps and leaks... and address them. Join us!

And creating and running a community has its own challenges as well, so who says โ€œhaving Skoolโ€ actually will convert anyone?

Finding a marketing/sales coach I can barter with, so that person need to be working on some digital product idea and I can coach them Anyone?
Do you compete with similar Skool communities?
I started building an ecosystem for community owners to grow together because I personally don't think it's a good idea for community owners with a similar approach, focus, or goal to compete with each other. NOT AT ALL! I see it happening all the time, but whatever the desired outcome is, competing with other community owners more often than not leads to the opposite outcomes! Without going into too much detail, I just wonder, what are your thoughts on this? Your honest take?

@Ruben Plasmeijer of course. There is what we call Blue Ocean and Red Ocean. Uber and Airbnb started in a blue ocean as they were the first one to identify not just the need but the way to solve it in the right time. Everyone that started after them and especially anyone that will start now on those spaces go into a red ocean as itโ€™s already crowded. Signs can be found everywhere, entrepreneurs need to know where and how to look for them
