The Breath Hold Challenge is not about pushing yourself. Wait, what? If you stick around for a few days, you learn that to hold longer, you don't push. You go into a state of relaxation. And forget about the world around you. Yes, I get it. When your diaphragm is jolting up and down. You are not relaxed. Stig has a secret hack to activate the Vagus nerve. What is the fastest way to reset the nervous system? It's something we call Relax on Demand, or 1:2 Breathing. The key is in the exhale. By extending the exhale, you give your body permission to shift to resting mode. Throw a few of these before your breath holds,, and watch the numbers go up. (and feel amazing in the mean time).
