Blessed Samhain, Witches 🕯️
Tonight, the veil thins to a whisper. The air hums with memory, and the spirits stir at the edges of our world. This is the witch’s new year the turning of the wheel where endings meet beginnings, and light bows to shadow. Take a moment to honour those who came before you. Light a candle for your ancestors, speak their names aloud, and invite their wisdom to walk beside you. Gather your herbs, your smoke, your charms cleanse the old, release what has weighed heavy, and set your intentions for what will rise from the ashes. Samhain isn’t just about death it’s about rebirth. It is the sacred pause before the dawn, the stillness in which transformation begins. May your night be filled with magic, protection, and the whispers of your lineage guiding you home. 🖤 Blessed Samhain, my sisters and brothers of the craft. — Laura 🍁🍂

Blessings my dear sisters and brothers 🕯️🙌🏻
A curiosity about other traditions.
October 27th, in Mexico, is one of the sweetest and most emotional days of the Día de Muertos. It’s believed to be the day when the souls of pets — our companions with paws, wings, or fins — are the first to cross the bridge that connects the spiritual world to the living. ✨ It’s the day dedicated to the animals who have passed on. Mexicans believe they come back to visit their guardians, guided by love and memory. That’s why it’s traditional to set up a special altar, called an ofrenda para los animalitos

@Lori Stepherson Even without photos, memory is something amazing — just the fact that you remember them is already so meaningful.

Let’s Talk Devotion
I’d love to know how do you honour any deity you work with in your daily life? It doesn’t have to be a full ritual or offering sometimes devotion looks like lighting a candle, whispering her name, or simply pausing at a crossroads and thinking of her. What little things do you do that make you feel connected to her presence? 🕯️🐺 Share below your ideas might inspire someone else in the circle.

I’m slowly returning to my devotional practices. Back when I used to do them, I would stand outside, take a deep breath, and let the air fill me — feeling the very essence of the deity I was connecting with. When it rained, I’d never use an umbrella, because I could feel the pure energy within each drop of rain.
Herbs
I’m curious — how do you guys dry your herbs? Over here I’ve got some peppermint, rue that’s blooming, and guinea hen weed. Do you have those kinds of herbs where you live?

@Douglas Norman I live on the fourth floor, and the sun always shines right through my window. The other day I brought the plants inside because of the heavy rain. But I’ll start paying attention to the way you guys do it — I want them dry, but still fresh.

The Whisper of Intention
Magic doesn’t always require elaborate tools sometimes, all it takes is a whisper and your will. I invite you to try this simple practice: When you wake, before reaching for your phone or stepping into the day, place your hand over your heart and speak your intention softly almost like a secret between you and the universe. It could be as simple as “Today, I walk in calm and trust.” or “My energy flows where my joy leads.” Feel the warmth beneath your hand. Imagine your words sinking into your chest, weaving themselves into your aura a spell made of breath and belief. Carry that energy through your day and notice how it shifts what unfolds around you. The most powerful magic often begins with the quietest words. What intention will you whisper into being today? 🕯️🌿✨

I’m always seeking tranquility, serenity, and protection. I think the way you explained it now will make it much clearer and allow everything to flow more naturally.

For years I’ve sought the ancient art’s path, lost and wandering, yet the calling never faded—this time, I think I’ve found it.
