October 27th, in Mexico, is one of the sweetest and most emotional days of the Día de Muertos. It’s believed to be the day when the souls of pets — our companions with paws, wings, or fins — are the first to cross the bridge that connects the spiritual world to the living.
✨ It’s the day dedicated to the animals who have passed on.
Mexicans believe they come back to visit their guardians, guided by love and memory. That’s why it’s traditional to set up a special altar, called an ofrenda para los animalitos
