Question Regarding Google Ads Strategy for Store Visits
Hello Austin, I am currently managing a Google Ads account for a lighting showroom in Toronto. Since last month, we’ve been running a search campaign with Store Visits as the primary goal. For the initial phase, we are using the "Maximize Clicks" bidding strategy to gather as much data as possible. Given that our main goal is an offline conversion (Store Visits), which as you know, may not always be perfectly accurate, my question is: Does it make sense to only rely on the Store Visits data provided by Google (whether through click-through or view-through conversions) and, once we have enough data, switch to the "Maximize Conversions" (tCPA) strategy? Please note that phone calls and lead forms are not a priority for the business owner as primary goals in this campaign. Additionally, they do not sell any lighting fixtures online. ( only physical showroom) Thank you for your time and attention.

Issues with Asset Extensions
Hello Austin I have persistent issues with asset extensions (sitelinks, callouts, promotions & prices assets) not being applied at the ad group level in one of my Google Search Campaigns. Despite multiple attempts to set ad group-specific assets, these assets either do not appear or are only available at the campaign level, leading to all extensions showing for every single ad group. Issue Details: - Extensions are created and assigned at the ad group level, but they either don’t appear in the ads or cannot be selected. - Extensions, when applied at the campaign level, appear across all ad groups, including irrelevant ones (e.g., Dental Implants Sitelinks asset showing in Teeth Whitening ad group!). Steps Taken: 1. Tried assigning assets at the ad group level multiple times. 2. Paused campaign-level extensions to see if ad group assets would show. 3. Double-checked if asset formats meet Google’s requirements. 4. Waited for syncing issues to resolve over time. So, how I can resolve the extension setup to ensure that only relevant assets are shown for each ad group? Additionally, let me know alternative solutions if the ad group-level assignment is not possible for this campaign. Thank you very much in advance.
