Who has?
Just wondering how many of you have actually named your guitars? It’s something I’ve tried to do but I have a hard time with it not becoming weird or some overly complicated thing. So if you did. How did you go about it and what helps you in naming them? Sadly I have on named the one I made as the angel guitar because of the image in it.

@November Moon I dunno it was kinda the first thing that came to mind when I pick them up. My first guitar was Veronica. She was just sleek and sexy. My black LTD was Dahlia after my dog and favorite band. My current guitar is Evelyn which I also named my 1 year old daughter. I think if you just hold your guitar and close your eyes and listen, she'll TELL you what her name is

Throwback. I RARELY film myself playing but for some reason I did that day. I miss that guitar. Anyways, just trying to put myself out there more. I really appreciate being welcomed to the community, the least I could do is embarrass myself a little lol

Yes always block it off if you're going to work on it. And one string at a time is excellent advice. If you are going to change string gauges, tuning, etc. hold the bridge by the whammy bar exactly where you want it heightwise, then block it in that spot. Change strings or tuning and when your string tension matches the springs your block should fall out at the perfect spot. Sometimes you may need to take a spring out or add another one or just reconfigure the ones you have already

CAMPFIRE SONGS
What songs do you or would you play around a campfire? I'm partial to the old classics, Camptown Races, She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain, Home on the Range, I've Been Working on the Railroad, Oh! Susanna, This Land is Your Land, and Clementine. What other suggestions do you have for me? I want to play songs people will probably know the words to, so they can sing along. So maybe, Row Row Row Your Boat, Michael Row the Boat Ashore, On Top of Spaghetti?
