Kind of a music-nerd crossover...
Wanted to share a project I've been working on, more as a component of a larger one but largely a standalone. As an amateur musician, I've been looking for ways of displaying custom chord diagrams inline (for example, in TAB music charts). The `svguitar` library is pretty effective, but it requires a fair knowledge of js to implement it - not really a "plug and play option". So I built the thing. With this, I can `<chord-diagram instrument="Standard Mandolin" chord="Dm7"></chord-diagram>` in the HTML and all the js contained. It includes some logic (lazy logic) to generate chords dynamically, but it also includes a chord editor - and the way I've built it, it looks first for a user override, then a system override, and only if it doesn't find those does it use the dynamic utility. It's a Custom Web Component built with Lit.js, it can be standalone or used as part of a contextual system (so if a user is logged in, there can be a user context). If any of y'all are interested, https://github.com/parent-tobias/chord-component - feel free to beat on it and use it if you have an application for it. If you are (or know) a web developer, this could be useful. It is pretty niche, but it's darn useful within that niche lol

Gretsch Rancher Jr.
Bought a Gretsch Rancher Jr acoustic-Electric this evening. As stated in a previous post I was looking for something solid that I could gig with. Was pleased with how full bodied this thing sounds. The neck feels more like an electric. Big enough to make a huge sound but small enough not to be cumbersome. I love my โ€˜64 Epiphone Texan but itโ€™s a big guitar. My case reminds me of a cello case. This is a lot easier to handle. Great sounding pickup. It has a Fishman preamp in it. Great looking and sounding guitar. From the Thumbnail markers, the stock locking strap buttons, triangular sound hole and steer logo. This thing is a sharp. Total eye catcher

Acoustic Board
So I posted recently that I was putting a dual purpose board together. Well, I changed my mind and decided to go with just an acoustic board. Mainly bc I have a great modeler I can run with my Mesa V-Twin and then also the logistics of adding and removing pedals on a regular basis. Most pedals i already owned. Had to wait on the PolyTune mini bc they had it on back order. But this the result. Now contemplating what to put in the empty spaces. Thinking an Octave pedal, but open to suggestions. Have room for one Standard sized pedal and one mini pedal. Mini I would prefer to be pre-Pre Amp. Standard sized pedal would go thru the effects loop with other effects. Love to see other people acoustic boards for inspiration
