An Important Update About Omni Guitars
Hey everyone! It’s been a minute, and I owe you an update. I’ve been pretty quiet these past two months. Life hit me with a mix of health issues and a few other challenges, and I had to step back to focus on getting myself back to normal. During that time, I didn’t feel very inspired or motivated, but I never lost sight of the mission behind Omni Guitars or the community we’re building together. I want you to know I haven’t given up. I just needed to regroup, recharge, and re-evaluate how to make this community better than ever. Now that my health is finally back on track, I’m ready to take Omni Guitars to the next level. Thank you to everyone who stayed patient, stayed plugged in, and kept adding value even when things got quiet. I’m genuinely grateful for you. Where We’re Headed 👇 When Omni Guitars was first created, aspirations were high. The goal was to make playing guitar more accessible and deliver insane value to our community. But between the rising costs of advertising, product development, fulfillment, and everything else behind the scenes, I learned quickly that this journey isn’t easy. So we went back to the drawing board. I spent the last couple of months thinking deeply about how to stay true to the mission while building something sustainable. I started exploring ways to offer more free or heavily discounted gear without running the company into the ground...and I’m excited to say some of these ideas are already in motion. Over the coming days, weeks, and months, I’ll be sharing updates about the changes you’ll start to see. Expect more transparency, more community involvement, more collaboration...and yes, more product giveaways, including another FREE guitar giveaway soon. 🎸 Sometimes you have to pull the arrow back before you can launch it forward. That’s exactly what this break was for. The Vision for Omni Guitars 👇 At Omni Guitars, we believe music has the power to unite, heal, and inspire. True to the meaning of “Omni” — all, everything, everyone — our mission is to make playing guitar accessible to people of all backgrounds, incomes, and circumstances.

This Labor Day, A Thank You to Our Founding Members 🙏🎸
Hey everyone 👋 On this Labor Day, we want to pause and recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance it takes to build something meaningful. That applies not only to us as a small family-owned company, but to you, our community, for being here and helping us shape Omni Guitars from the ground up. 💪 First off, I just want to say thank you! Omni Guitars is still here, alive and well, and that’s because of you, our founding members. This past year has been an amazing journey full of growth, lessons, and a few setbacks along the way. We’ve learned so much about what it takes to run a community-driven brand like this, and while we’ve made mistakes, we’re committed to making things better moving forward. 🙏 Here’s the truth: running a group and business like this costs real money. Shipping, product development, giveaways, keeping the lights on… it all adds up. If we could give away a free guitar or pedal every day, trust me, we would 🎸and have aspirations to make that happen. But the reality is if we did that, we’d go broke very quickly. That’s the tough balance we’ve been working to figure out. At the end of the day, we’re a small family-owned company doing this out of love for the guitar ❤️, not money. We’ve done our best to give out free or heavily discounted gear, like the free strings we send out even though they cost us every single month, because we believe in making music more accessible. But we also need to find a way to sustain this so it lasts for the long haul. Right now, we’re in a regrouping phase. We’ve got some exciting projects in the works 🚀, but they take time (and money 😅). One thing we’ve realized is that we need to do a better job of sharing our vision with you. Omni means “all” or “every,” and that’s the heart of this brand: to build something where everyone feels they belong and their voice matters. This community was never meant to just be about “what’s in it for me?” It’s about what we can do together to make a bigger impact. Our long-term vision is to launch a nonprofit to give guitars and lessons to military veterans, first responders, kids, and anyone battling mental health challenges. 💪 Music has the power to heal, break down walls, and carry people through dark times. That’s the bigger picture. 🌍✨

Posting and Discussion Announcement!
Hey Gang! I made the decision to open up the ability to post inside the group to any day of the week, instead of just Friday. I would like to acknowledge @William Gentry who is our new group admin for coming up with the idea of adding more discussion topics/categories. Here are the new categories that you can choose from when writing a post. Its important that you select the appropriate one so that its easier to search for posts in the feed. * General Discussion (already available) - anything not covered by another topic * Giveaways (already available, limited to admin & moderators only) * Announcements (limited to admin & moderators Only) * Guitar Maintenance, Upgrade, & Repair (advice, instructional videos, etc.) * Show & Tell (Show off your guitars, pedalboards, unboxing new gear, videos of you playing, etc.) * Jam Sessions (renamed Jam Session Friday -- requests for meet ups or jam sessions, videos of you/your band practicing or live shows, etc.) * Tips, Tricks, & Techniques (picking, scales, soloing, arpeggios, string skipping, practice routines, etc.) * Reviews (anything that you’ve tried — good or bad — courses, books, videos, YouTube channels, guitars, gear, accessories, offbeat products, etc.) * FAQs (frequently asked questions and classroom guidelines, dos and don'ts) We just ask that you continue to follow the community guidelines and not post anything that goes against them. Our community is all about helping each other, discovering amazing products, and enjoying exclusive rewards. Here’s what to expect and how to make the most out of being here: 📜 Community Guidelines: 1. Be Kind & Respectful – We’re all here to learn and grow. Be kind, courteous, and supportive of others! 2. Stay on Topic – Keep posts and comments related to guitar gear, insights, reviews, and lessons. This keeps our community focused and valuable for everyone. 3. No Self-Promotion – Let’s keep the focus on the guitar marketplace! Any promotions or advertising outside of Omni Guitar products won’t be allowed, including Facebook Links 4. Absolutely NO Engagement Farming - This is empty content meant to boost posts and get likes. This can also be done by flooding posts with an abundance of comments to gain likes. Excessive comments will be flagged by our Marketing department going forward and your account may be closed without warning. Engagement farming makes the community frustrating for all. Don't be that person. 5. This is not LinkedIn - Please do not post as a "Thought Leader" (expert) in topics. 6. Be positive, Don't be annoying, and make an effort!
