📘 Day 2 Task (A) – LinkedIn Profile Power (Before Lecture)
“Turn your LinkedIn into a recruiter magnet.” As discussed in Day 1 meeting, Recruiters don’t search on Google — they search on LinkedIn. If your profile is weak, they’ll never find you. Right now, your LinkedIn headline might say ‘IT Professional’ — but recruiters are typing SQL, Python, Workday, AWS. Headline Formula: Role + Tools/Tech + Value. - ❌ Weak: “IT Specialist.” - ✅ Strong: “IT Support Engineer | ServiceNow & SQL | Solving System Issues Fast.” - About Section: 3–4 sentences. Who you are, what you do, what tools you use, one quick achievement. - Skills Section: Add at least 10 skills from your target job description. Today’s Challenge before Day 2 Call: 1. Rewrite your LinkedIn headline using the formula. 2. Update your About section (at least 3 sentences). 3. Post a screenshot of your new headline in the group. We will discuss them in tomorrow’s call! Pro Tip . If you’re using ChatGPT here is a Prompt engineering hack: “Screenshot your current headline, attach it to gpt, then say “act as a professional SEO writer, and write a headline to make my profile more visible to Recruiters” Then you need to rephrase the output

Working for big corporations vs small companies or startups
Hi team Breakthrough Elites. This question keeps coming into mind when someone is looking for a job as you may get job offers from both types. This is my two cents. I hope you find it helpful. I want you share your experience with me please. Thank you Working for Big Companies Pros: - Structured career path with formal promotions and development programs. - Job stability is often higher due to strong financial resources. - Better benefits packages (healthcare, retirement, bonuses, parental leave). - Access to training and professional development resources. - Strong brand reputation on your résumé. Cons: - Bureaucracy and slow decision-making, making innovation harder. - Less visibility—your individual impact may feel smaller. - More rigid roles, limiting how much variety you get in your tasks. - Office politics can be more complex and layered. - Harder to stand out, especially in very large teams. Working for Small Companies (or Startups) Pros: - Broader responsibilities, giving you faster skill growth. - More visible impact—your work directly influences the company. - Faster decision-making and more flexibility. - Closer relationship with leadership, often including the founders. - More room for creativity and trying new ideas. Cons: - Less job stability, especially in early-stage companies. - Limited benefits compared to large corporate packages. - Fewer opportunities for formal promotions or structured career paths. - Workload can be heavier, with long hours or shifting priorities. - Resource constraints, meaning fewer tools, systems, or support. Please share your comments and experiences with me. Thank you all

@Sheida Qmarc Thanks for sharing your experience. Important questions are: Where do you earn more money? It depends. Sometimes in small companies and sometimes in big ones. Where do you feel more comfortable? Always in big companies Where do you learn more? Always in small companies. But about learning workplace structure and correct procedures, ethics, email rules, etc usually big companies are better. Where do you grow faster? Usually small companies. Please add more questions with answers from your point of view

@Alex B Very nice input Alex. I believe people should differentiate between IT/AI/Tech companies and traditional industries like civil, mechanic, electrical, manufacturing, pipelines, petrochemicals, oil & gas, etc. In my opinion there is a big difference between them. When I get a chance, I will elaborate this.
How to level up to execute team in workplace
Hi all. I wanted to share five high-impact tips to help you level up toward an executive role. This comes from my experience looking at the people around me stepped up the ladder. Do you have any experience? Please share. Which one do you think is the most effective one? 1. Think and Act Strategically (Most Important) Shift from daily tasks to big-picture thinking. Executives focus on long-term impact, risks, resource allocation, and alignment with company goals. Start framing your recommendations in terms of ROI, risk mitigation, and strategic value. 2. Build Influence Across the Organization Executives succeed through people, not solo work. Cultivate strong relationships with leaders in engineering, finance, operations, product, HR, etc. Be seen as someone who aligns teams, not just executes tasks. 3. Demonstrate Ownership Beyond Your Job Description Take responsibility for outcomes, not just activities. Identify gaps in the business and proactively solve them—even if they’re outside your department. Executives are “owners,” not “doers.” 4. Communicate Clearly, Concisely, and Persuasively Executive communication means: - Short, structured updates - Data-driven points - Actionable recommendations - Anticipating questions before they’re askedYour ideas shouldn’t need explaining twice. 5. Develop Leadership Presence People follow leaders they trust. Improve your presence through: - Confidence without ego - Calm under pressure - Decisiveness - Strong meeting facilitation - Being someone others consult for judgment I hope you find this helpful. I want to know about your experience too. Which one do you think is the most important one?

@Shahram Pooee Shahram, I will try to give some real examples for some of these items but in few days. For item 1 which is think and act strategically, we have hard working people in organizations who solve problems but those problems happen again and those employees solve them again. Someone with strategic thinking solve the root cause of the problem to prevent it to happen again.
✊Day 0 Task (B)- Linkedin Introduction (⚠️Very Important)
please follow below example and tell us about your story (good, bad or ugly, BE REAL BE RELAXED, you are in a safe zone here) in the comments: Include your linkedin profile link, a win/fail, a goal and an obstacle/struggle (*could be physical or mental limitation*) in your personal career story! Let's gooooooo🔥🔥 ✅Hi Everyone, This is Alex Amir. here is my linkedin profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/abajestani/ Please feel free to send me an invite. Wins: My biggest career Win is that I was able to enter my dream company PWC early in my Career (and yes I did a lot of work to get there) then moved on to KPMG, 2 of the big4! Where I was fortunate enough to be able to work and learn from many industries and various large size companies, through consulting in Human resource systems, mainly "Workday"! Then I got tired of employee routine and followed some contractors who were working for Big4 ! I tried to network with them and learn their secrets but wasn’t successful! As they were very conservative about these contracts! Long story short, with my willpower and curiosity personality, I found it! I learned a way to became an independent consultant! And get high-paying clients! All of a sudden my income tripled!! Lots of fun, Amazing pay and amazing flexibility! This lifestyle helped me choose my preferred projects to work on and decline the rest! I have consulted various clients in Workday HR systems such as Major Banks,Retails (Loblaws), Healthcare ( Cancer Care Ontario), etc across different industries which gave me a great perspective. In workday data conversion consulting industry, we go by total number of employees of the companies portfolio we consulted , for me this number is above 1 million headcount, having 100,000 under loblaw and metro stores chain itself! I have consulted as Workday Data and HRIS solution architect and currently as a Senior Workday ERP Engineer at a large healthcare organization across 10 states and I work remotely. But I do travel alot between US and Canada!

@Alex B Thank you for the presentation. Many people have already mentioned that your explanations were fabulous so I directly go to my takeaways. Challenging recruiters, Looking at the previous position of a newly hired person Answer specific questions with high remarks to pass system filtering Power of LinkedIn My only comment is: Video was too long for me who is very busy and I think you could cover everything including Q & A in half the time. Thank you again for the time and dedication
