Club Integrity ~ MIA members
Good Morning Y'all. Who's experienced a lack-luster member- in a really small club- and how did you address it? Backstory - I enrolled a member back in October before my family life erupted and had to postpone enrolling more members for a couple months. I treated her to private healing sessions during the pause- nearly the same cost of her 1/2 priced monthly club payment. She was also invited to three in person events per month- and attended none. In December I enrolled another member who is fully committed and engaged in the online coaching sessions, attending every in person event - which is currently open to the public, so she is also getting the promised community element- but this committed, engaged member doesn't have the accountability of the second member, nor do I! I've increased the frequency and methods of reminders, explicitly asked for her RSVPs and still she she's a no show. I've paid for rental spaces to host - just her- or held her seat in a sold out event only for her to flake with no notification - many times. She's shown up to one coaching call and one in person event out of nearly 15 total opportunities. I reached out to her specifically around her lack of engagement, scheduled and met her for coffee to discuss the challenge - didn't really have much to say accept that it's Winter and she likes to stay in. In all honesty, I can see that she's not the greatest fit for my Collective. She's a long time client who's received many private healing sessions and enrolled in a 3 month immersion which she also was less than enthusiastic about. She claims to have experienced so much growth and healing through our work, and is excited about this being her one big commitment this year. Yet, I'm not so sure. And honestly, I feel slighted by all the no shows! Especially when I have women on a waitlist to join in the fun. Thoughts anyone??

@Cate Stillman Thanks Cate. That is definitely where I've landed in this experience. It's also teaching me to structure my sales process in a way that ensures I am selecting people who will engage in a meaningful way that really adds value to the Collective, and doesn't drain my focus.

@Nina Saacks Thanks for your reflection. This is a great opportunity to be accepting of differences in approach. She has certainly benefitted from her previous work in private and smaller containers. Hopefully things shift for her along the way. Appreciate your shared experience!

Yesss! I'm with you Paula. My club is feeling so dynamic, in part because of the other awesome women I'm bringing in as "Guest Experts". I'd love to talk about what we could each offer one another's clubs.
Reaching Out
When in freak out, I usually retreat....I lost my Uncle to suicide mid-October & halted my WPA work for about 2months. I'm coming back to it finally as life must move on... I'm scared to be bigger in my life & I'm also scared to die without living my dreams. I'm reaching out to help get past the freak out. Any advice & encouragement is welcome. I'm shifting from a full-time bodyworker (with weak tech & business skills) to an ayurvedic wellness counselor & boy do I feel impostor syndrome, yet I know it's the next step in my evolution of self. thank you for your time & support.

Haylee, I am deeply sorry for your loss. As @Patrick Garlinger mentioned, I too have been navigating deep loss with the passing of my father- leaving me an orphan, and the flare up of significant mental health challenges within my family since October. I took time away for sure. But, as has been mentioned more than once, this community is my anchor. It keeps me tethered to my vision while surrounding me with people who understand that crossroads like these are portals to transformation - which each of us are striving to also provide to our members. I've kind of decided this is my initiation into the medicine path I've chosen. I agree with what @Kavita Kat Macmillan and Patrick said about having a specific community space to be able to address what so many of us are navigating- developing leadership and staying rooted to our practices while also encountering grief and our own major transitions. I know there are elements within Club Thrive that can support us, for sure. But, a specific space to rap on these experiences and support one another through them would be of great benefit. I also resonate deeply with what you said @Kavita Kat Macmillan about the work you do not allowing for "just pushing through." My work is so intricately tied to grieving, allowing, feeling to heal, and trusting in the Universal flow that continuing to show up - messy when necessary is fundamental to the feminine leadership I'm exemplifying and encouraging in my members. Showing our clients we are real human who flexibility, and will make adjustments and allowances for processing, but still courageously putting one foot in front of the other gives them permission to have grace with themselves when they too inevitably encounter grief. Still, support in doing this is so helpful. We're actively carving a new pathway of doing business AND having compassion for humanity. This requires support in all directions! I'm here anytime @Haylee Hickman

@Haylee Hickman Yes, we are blessed to be supported with so many community resources. Just trying to find grace for myself through all that I am holding! Day by Day. I hope you and your family are also getting the support you need. I cannot imagine suffering that particular kind of devastating loss. Sending you so much love and light.
Come to Sales Practice this week: Closing/Call 3
We've been doing some much needed practice this year with our Sales Practice Sessions! I love hearing all of the wins from members that come to the call and then make progress - whether that be locking down our first BAMFAM (if you don't know what that is, you need to come!), or enrolling another member into club. This week we are going to be focusing on call 3 of 3: Closing/Reinforcing the Decision - how to successfully enroll a prospect into your club. No matter where you are in your Club Development process, if sales is something you know you need to work on, I invite you to join us, even if you don't feel ready. Hope to see you there!

I often don't feel ready for these calls, but always get something from them. This week I'll be there in person, and will have two live sessions to reflect on (one BAMFAM from last week, one new lead!) and one to practice for on Thursday!! Looking forward to it.
Updated Pitch Deck + One pager
Latest Pitch Deck and One Page... I am refining these all time... open to feedback! I know the pitch deck is super wordy - I think for that reason I haven't ever actually gone through it slide by slide in a sales chat yet do pull it up to refer to things. I really find I prefer to keep face time with the conversation until we are needing the visuals for specifics ~ At that point I do find it helpful to be able to pull up the pitch deck. The one pager is updated from the last one I posted to be more to the point. Usually this accompanies an email.

Excellent Kavita! Your dedication to refining your slides and one pager really show. They're both beautiful and very inviting. I want to attend one of your events!! You are in Portland, correct? I have high hopes to make it back there this Spring. Aesthetically speaking - the "exchange" slide stands out as quite different from the others - as intended, I'm sure. But the coloring of the middle price range - the red- isn't a cohesive contrast to the rest of the slides. The background highlighting of the price is too light, barely noticeable. The rest is warm, clear, inviting and quite seamless.
