Reclaiming Human Agency
Just coming out of this session on navigating AI, Social Fracture, and Polarization it was SO dense and we were deep into reclaiming our capacity to sense, know, and act amid forces designed to fragment our attention and polarize our communities. This session brought together ethical AI innovators withΒ Tristan Harris, Nepun Mehta, experts in embodiment Manis Srivastava and collective sense-making, and practitioners navigating the economies of attention. Hosted by Otto Scharmer and Antoinette Klatzky and social artist Kelvy Bird. I'll need some time to share my notes! Please, I invite any of you who attended to add your own takeaways from any of the speakers that would be fabulous for us all to read. In the meantime, here is the graphic recording that Kelvy put together. I'm still listening to this phrase from Nepun: Love is deep data, with it we trust that inner coherence will lead to social coherence.πŸ’–

Seeking to Learn About Climate Action In Schools
Hi Everyone πŸ‘‹ Delighted to be here! I am launching a 12-week gamified climate action program for kids age 6 - 12 called Earth Doctors and I'd love to connect with more people in environmental education and schools. I am new to working with school districts and creating teacher kits etc. Have you ever created these kinds of systems or clubs and have insights to share? πŸŒπŸ’š

Hey @Katie Patrick This looks really interesting. I am not working too much with young people now but previously have been quite involved in trying to support regenerative learning in schools (mainly in the UK). I know getting into schools and infront of teachers for uptake can be challenging but not impossible. I'm happy to have a chat and bounce ideas, but I am not too familiar with the US context.
Job search
Hi all, It was a pleasure to connect with those who were able to attend the call this morning. What a beautiful and nourishing community. I wanted to pick your brains as I have been freelancing for a while, but starting to consider searching for a more permanent/stable job and have been wondering if there is a job site linked to IDG aware/IDG progressive organisations? It feels like it would be a wonderful resource for the community..but I have yet to find one! Thanks

HI Nadene, thanks for getting in touch - primarily it would be Europe. I am currently based in London, but open to move somewhere else in Europe, and work remotely if needed (as well as open to travel for consultancy/short term work).
