New to Jira – Looking for advice on setting it up for my Scrum team
Hi all! I’m setting up Jira for a team with two sub-teams. Each runs their own Daily Scrum, so we want separate boards but still stay under the same larger team/project umbrella. Current setup: - One large Jira project - Two boards (one per sub-team) - No backlog in the main project but the boards have backlog because the filters are set to the teams. Each Sub-Team works across multiple projects which are created in JIRA. Is this setup okay? Or what would you recommend: Appreciate any tips or setups that worked for you!

What do you mean by "each Sub-Team works across multiple projects..."? The Sub-Teams members have in parallel other projects with planed & assigned work issues, runing in other jira spaces?

@Corey Glaude Plans is great but requires Jira Premium. You can create a multi-projects overview with a Scrum Board and multi-space filter as well, but without all those advanced features and capabilities. But with high amount (>5) of involved projects the Backlog view can lead to informational overload. So for joined planing, dependencies tracking and even portfolio-overviews - Plans are a must-have. 👍 For the personal daily work overviews in multiple projects (spaces) I'd go with Scrum Boards.
Are Subtasks Good or Bad?
We hit record this time! Great conversation on Subtasks.

I absolutely hate subtasks. 🫣 But some folks (e.g. marketing) are using subtasks to create multiple reminders for different activities (inside of the main task) - just by setting a due date in each subtask and getting an overdue notification. Kinda work hack for them. 😏
Rovo Agents. Frustrating expirience
Hello. I am experimenting with Rovo Agents (Studio) and so far my experience is quite frustrating. The quality results and the behavior of Rovo Agents are nearly impossible to "stabilize"! :( Sometimes Rovo just refuses to see some of the standard fields like "due date": no data. When I switch to one of the prebuilt agents: voila, the data can be read. I switch back to my Agent: no data available. I leave Rovo alone and turn back 15 minutes later, I open my Rovo Agent again: the due date data is available! After a few requests - nope, can't read it anymore. It is just like having a colleague who is playing around with you and fooling you every time you ask them something. This is so frustrating and makes Rovo Agents totally useless. I could find a bunch of support tickets on the same issue: no solutions or workarounds so far. :( How is your experience? Any ideas for "stable" Agents?
