This is among the best odyssey bottles. I own them all and I definitely use this one quite a bit.
Slay the Scent: Atlas by Lattafa
Whilst not my go too type of fragrance, Atlas is actually not bad. It's an aromatic marine style fragrance that was released in 2024. The scent is designed to capture the essence of the ocean, not a tropical beach vibe, more of a deep, salty, metallic sea. The opening is an immediate blast of cold, salty ocean air with a sharp, zesty citrus undertone. As it settles, the iris adds a slightly powdery touch, while davana provides a subtle herbal sweetness that prevents the salt from becoming too harsh. The dry down is where the fragrance shows its true strength. The ambergris gives it a mineral, musky depth that lasts, supported by earthy oakmoss & a creamy woody finish. Performance is not bad for a freshie, I'm getting 5ish hours. It projects well for the first 90min. It creates a noticeable scent trail. Ideal for Spring and Summer. The salty-fresh DNA thrives in the heat, though its sheer power makes it wearable in cooler weather too. Best for outdoor events, casual daytime wear, or seaside vacations. Not a bad option for the summer, I'm thinking. My Rating 6.5/10 Scent 2 Longevity 2 Sillage 1.5 Y/N 1

Splash On Brut Cologne
One of my young kids got me a bottle of Brut cologne (something thoughtful they could buy with their tiny Christmas budget). Since I have so much nice stuff, I grinned and said thank you ofcourse. I didn’t seriously think I’d use it. But.. I was wrong. It reminded me of the many soap on a rope gifts I was given as a kid. Some were surely brut. Where I’ve been surprised is how I’ve used it. I use a ton of lotion after every shower, and I don’t use scented stuff. It has been nice to have a splash bottle like brut to dab on with the lotion to enhance the plain lotion smell. Now .. I wished I had a splash on bottle sooner.

I know splash on bottles are not common anymore. Do you have any?
What fragrance was the “ah-ha moment”???
Today I was talking amongst the brothers and I had a thought of a simple question. What was the first parfum you smelled when “the passion” hit? Not the first time you recognized frags, but when you really got serious!!!! For example, mine was not Polo Green or Old Spice or Stetson For Men. In 1978-1984ish options and knowledge was very limited. Especially in an area of the country with maybe 2 TV channels available possibly 3 in the winter when the leaves fell off the trees. Sounds crazy right???? I was 25 and been in my first war before computers were a thing. Sorry. Regardless, the first frag that had me was my father’s Vetiver By Guerlain. The OG. Luckily I still have my last OG bottle from 1988. I had first found Polo Green and Drakar Noir but the vetiver???? That was class. So what say you brothers? Did you get real about frags seriously when older or younger??? What was it that got you and why???? I realize we also have many younger people here and really want to hear your thoughts and experiences as well!!!

I ran out of ADG Profumo and had to ask what do people buy these days? I started the road of accumulating different things for different occasions after that
