Intro
Hello everyone. I’m Xavier, from Mexico City. 45 yrs old, struggled with weight all my adult life. Made this transformation a top priority for me one year ago with the objective to get to 45 in the best shape of my life. In 10 months went from 28% to 12% body fat, reduced 66 lbs. Eating well, resistance training, was able to increase naturally testosterone from 400 to 700 with guidance from my doctor. Using Reta, Tesamorelin+Ipamorelin. I feel AMAZING. I was looking for a community to learn from and share ideas!

Man that is awesome. I am 43 and kind of looked like you in the first pic so looking forward to turning a new leaf and making a real change in my life. Tired of carrying around extra fat slowing me down.
Hevy workout app
Does anybody use the Hevy app to track their workouts? Seeing if there's anybody who wanted to follow each other's workouts. My username name is Vicks99

I have not been much of a lifter, more of a cardio guy for some reason. So I definetly need something to get me kicked started. I've really liked workouts with low weight but lots of reps. I wonder if it matter if I go more that route. I might check out Hevy. I am trying GymVerse now.

I have not tried that but like the idea of trying to keep the dose as low as possible to stay in caloric deficit while not thinking about food all the time.

I have a doctors appointment in two weeks. wish I could have got an ealier one. I almost ordered TRT befor the doctors appointment. I went ahead and got Tirz and started there. curious what the Army doctor is going to tell me.
What are you doing different?
For me, I have always hit the gym. I have had a solid routine for years but got comfortable. Now I am pushing it more with lifting. Told myself for years that I was “too old to dead lift”… Well that is not the case. Mind you I am not doing crazy weight, but I am lifting to failure in reps. I have built up to 225lbs and today I did 12 the first set, 9 the second, and 7 the third set then dropped down to. 135 and did 20. Disclaimer, I’m 5’6 and weight 152lbs now.
What are you doing different?
