Welcome to The Triple Reset - Here's what to do first...
So glad you're here! If you're in this community, you're probably a lot like me. Over 40, you've done the work in other areas of life, but somewhere along the way your body stopped cooperating. Maybe your energy tanked. Maybe the weight crept on and nothing you used to do works anymore. Maybe you're just tired of feeling like a downgraded version of yourself. That was me. I lost 55 lbs after 40 using three levers: GLP-1s, TRT, and consistent resistance training. Not one of those alone. All three, working together. That's the Triple Reset. This community exists so you don't have to figure it all out alone. We're here to share what's working, ask real questions, and keep each other accountable. Here's what I need you to do right now: 1. Introduce yourself. Drop a post in the community telling us who you are, where you're at physically, and what you're hoping to get out of being here. Be real. No one's judging. We've all been at the starting line. 2. Comment on someone else's intro. Find one other guy's post and say something. Welcome him. Ask a question. Just connect. This place only works if we actually talk to each other. 3. Ask me something. Seriously. About GLP-1s, TRT, training, whatever. I'm in here every day and I'll answer you personally. That's it. Three things. Let's go. - Lane

Hello everyone. I’m Xavier, I’m from Mexico City. 45 yrs old, struggled with weight all my adult life. Made this transformation a top priority for me one year ago with the objective to get to 45 in the best shape of my life. In 10 months went from 28% to 12% body fat, reduced 66 lbs. Eating well, resistance training, was able to increase naturally testosterone from 400 to 700 with guidance from my doctor. Using Reta, Tesamorelin+Ipamorelin. I feel AMAZING. I was looking for a community to learn from and share ideas!

@Lane Sebring I saw your video where you admit some negative comments impacted you. I would only say ENVY is a strong sentiment. I can relate, but listen all the comments I get from healthy fit people are awesome, so much appreciation, respect and encouragement. I’ve had a few negative comments like “are you OK? I am worried about you…” and all those comments are from… you guessed it fat super unfit people. I just laugh and say I got cancer… after they panick I tell them no, just put my body as a top priority. Feeling the best in my whole life.

@Mathew Young just make it a top priority form you and think it will be a long term thing, not a quick fix.
The road begins now
What’s up fellas!? I’m not quite 40 yet but pushing my way to the top of that hill. I’m married with 4 kiddos that my life revolves around. Growing up I was an active guy, always involved in a sport year round and worked on top of that. Once I graduated high school my shape went from a fit guy to a blob. I have struggled for the past 20 years going back and forth with my weight. Once kids came into the picture it’s been straight down hill. Between their sports, activities and my two youngest having some pretty gnarly medical stuff going on I just don’t prioritize myself like I should. I feel myself moving in the right direction here in the last month or so tho. I’ve started working out again, im looking at labs, my kids are becoming more independent and we are looking acreage to finally settle down in Tennessee. I look forward to making some connections with other guys in my same spot and those who have been in my situation before. Glad to be here.

I hear you @Jacob Merrow at some point I realized I had to put my health back as a top priority. It’s not only what I needed for myself but being healthy again makes me a better husband and father.
HUGE Thank you to the First 50!
Hey guys! Just wanted to say we just hit 50 members. This is only the beginning. Super pumped to be on this journey with all of you. Thanks for being here. What is a win you can share? For me, it's that I have consistently lifted long enough to really know my way around the gym. Might sound like a small thing, but I go in there with a plan, I know what I'm doing, and I get it done. It didn't used to be that way. I'd love to hear your wins!

@Sean Payne I’ve been on Reta for 10 months. Is amazing but powerful. Go slow, let your body acclimate, the smaller the dosage the better. I did 1.75mg/week for 2 months, then 2.5 for 2 months and have been in 3mg since then. Haven’t feel the need to go over 3mg and is fantastic to eliminate food noises, but let me eat what I need to eat.

@Sean Payne looking good! Keep it as low as possible. No need to rush increasing the dose.
Monitoring progress
How do you monitor your progress outside of the mirror? I use a Renphro biometric scale and app. Any other ideas?

I use daily Withings scale, connects to Apple health and that sends daily body composition to MacroFactor to adjust calories for the week ahead. Then couple times a week I measure my abdomen, and twice a month In-body.
