💡 Information Won’t Change You… Implementation Will
@Marlon Clay Welcome! Your actions have inspired me to share something. I just recorded another Q and A style video, and the big theme is simple: Information is step one. Action is step two. And step two is the part most people skip. Think about something as basic as choosing food with your partner. You can talk about options forever… But at some point, you have to pick something and cook. Training is the same. You can watch 50 handstand videos… But nothing really “clicks” until you actually kick up, wobble, feel what’s hard, and go: “Ohhh, THAT’S what they meant.” That’s why I love keeping the information free. YouTube helped me learn parkour early on too. Shoutout to Jesse LaFlair. But the real growth comes when reality taps you on the shoulder and says: “Cool… now do it.” Because then you learn things like: - the difference between mental stop vs physical failure in strength - why handstand balance only makes sense after you’ve felt the midline wobble - why “perfect programs” mean nothing without a frame of reference If you’re new here, start simple: Pick 3 moves. Do them this week. Adjust after. And if you’re a lurker watching everything… This is your sign. Do something. Then the information starts working for you. 💬 What’s ONE skill or goal you’re going to actually practice this week (even 2 minutes counts)?

Love this video. Makes total sense. It's funny because I actually spent hours trying to plan what to do before I realized I just needed to get started and do something. I can fine tune the details after. Just gotta get moving. Every action is building the habit. In one of your documents you say the goal is movement. That resonated with me. I hope to build that consistency. Thanks for the welcome!

Hello everyone, my name is Marlon. I don't have an Instagram. I'm looking to Kickstart my fitness again after being inactive for many years. I used to be very active and train weightlifting. I'm older now so I feel like I should focus more on mobility and flexibility than just strength. Calisthenics seems like a great way to train. My goal thus year would be to learn and properly apply what I can regarding bodyweight training and maintain a routine to progress.

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert probably knowing where to begin. I read through the beginner program and am looking to start with picking a push, pull and legs exercise 3x a week. The other days I'm thinking of some core and cardio like jump rope or jogging.
