What job can a client give you
What kind of work should you expect to be given by a client as a copywriter. Can someone please list them out

Basically anything that has to do with words, and getting people to take action and buy a product/service that your client is promoting. Here are some of the most common things you would work with as a copywriter: - Email marketing(sending emails) - Writing sales pages/landing pages - Building out their funnel

@Zoya Jaz A funnel is a multi-stage process that guides potential customers from first learning about a product to making a purchase. Writing sales pages and landing pages are part of building a funnel, but they are not the entire funnel. They are tools used within the funnel to capture leads (landing pages) and convert those leads into customers (sales pages) Hope this helps!

i had to learn this the HARD way...
Yoo, what's up… This post could genuinely be the difference between you making $5k-10k/mo, Or deciding to quit copywriting in a couple of weeks. Let me explain: It was a sunny school morning, just 3 months ago. I had a sales call with my potential first client at 5:30 AM… My eyes were begging for mercy as I forced myself to open them and get out of bed… I SOMEHOW managed to make it to my desk, and get on the call. A couple mins into the call, me and my prospect were chillin' together… šŸ‘‰This was until he brought up the price.šŸ‘ˆ I asked him how much he’d be willing to pay me… And with a small bit of uncertainty in his voice, he said ā€œaround…$2K/moā€ My heart started pounding off my chest, My ears started ringing, It felt like WW3 in my head! I couldn’t show it though. So I calmly agreed to the price and about 3 minutes later we got off the call. RIGHT when I hit that ā€œleave meetingā€ button, I started jumping up and down in excitement.šŸ˜‚ My first client was paying me 4 figures a MONTH. However, both I and my client knew that the job wasn't over. I STILL had to write a long-ass welcome sequence… So that’s what I did. After a week of hitting my Picasso touches on this welcome sequence… We launched what I THOUGHT, was some of my best work. But man was I quickly humbled… Just 72 hours later, I checked how the emails were performing… 5% open rate?? My ego felt like it got hit by a full-force punch from Mike Tyson. That sequence was converting as much as a pitch from those IG paragraph bandits in the 4D discord. And this ALL happened because the emails were landing in spam. I was using shit SLs, and spammy language in the emails. And sadly, it wasn’t long till my client caught on… I made him $300 MAX for what he paid me. So obviously, he decided to stop working with me… It felt humbling…to say the least. I didn’t touch my desk for 2 days. (that’s how demotivated I was) But from that day on, I learned the #1 lesson I use to close & keep retainer clients like it's lightwork…

Great advice dude!
The Copywriter's Den (Copywriting/Outreach Mastermind)
Hey Everyone, Outreaching and getting clients on your own is like hell. I know this because that's what I have been doing all this time. My proof is that I have no clients (lol). That's why I'm thinking outside the box, and doing something different. I'm creating a small group/community of like-minded copywriters that have yet to get their first client. Here we will all share our experiences from each outreach we do, the good and the bad. We will also hop on calls every week, where we can all exchange ideas and give out advice. You might be wondering what you could possibly learn from people who haven't gotten a client yet. Well, this quote explains it perfectly: "Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself" - Eleanor Roosevelt So, what are you waiting for? Click the link and join the community on slack: https://join.slack.com/t/thecopywritersden/shared_invite/zt-2hkhz1hzb-96CVA8j40ydNdTF980zabg Let's get this bread together🫔
