What do you call yourself? What is your "title"?
I have always been fascinated by how many different types of coaches are out there. Some of the most common names include but are not limited to: - Life coach - Career coach - Fitness coach - Mindset coach - Business coach The list goes on and on, and I wonder, how many different types of coaches are there? And how does it work exactly, more "life coaches" means that more people need help with... life? (Please, don't take this the wrong way, any coach with the best intentions does a great job, it's not my intention either to make any coach feel like they are not, I am just curious about the wording and labels we choose!). It's been on my mind for such a long time that I had a hard time defining my own "title". I don't necessarily attach too much value to a name or label, while I need to be aware of the importance of clarity in our messaging, the way you come across. The first impression matters a lot. Our primary focus on curiosity means that we don't give advice. We don't tell anyone what to do. In the CLUES Curiosity Coaching programs we focus on learning how to ask better questions. Because if you are willing to ask questions, to really question your own ways, your own way of thinking, your actions, the patterns that you might not even be aware of anymore, curiosity is key! We normally only offer paid Curiosity Coaching Calls and Programs, but starting next week (Monday 26th of Jan), you have the opportunity to "win" a free, private Curiosity Curiosity Call simply by participating in our brand new "Connecting Through Curiosity" mini-series!🎉 Curious? Let's chat and join the CLUES community this weekend to participate be included in the raffle! (these series are about presence by the way, presence over pressure, curiosity over competition.😉) Your "Curiosity Coach", Ruben🧐😃

This is something I've struggled I think in part because I don't like to lock myself done to just any one thing, bit also because I don't want to be JUST the coach either. I think helping others is mostly about coaching (helping someone to find the knowledge within), but with some mentoring on the side (providing thoughts and guidance to help reduce time needed for some things) I think I need something that captures all of this.

@Ruben Plasmeijer - agreed, I'm not really one for titles or labels. Unfortunately we live in a world where people seem to expect you to have one, but I guess we don't have live up to the expectations of others 😉😁
Day 1: Your #Headline Moment 🗞️ Let The Party Begin! 🎉
The CLASSIFIEDS posting party has officially begun, and you are all invited!!! 🥳 The tagline for the Classifieds is: “The only place where YOU are the headline.” 1. So, your task IN A NEW POST (under communities): Write your Classifieds Headline - one clear sentence that captures what your community is about. 2. Then, add one sentence describing your ideal group member (Do not use “anyone,” “everyone,” or “someone” in your description). 3. Include a gif that represents the vibe of your group. 4. Don’t forget the CTA! Leave an invitation to join your group and include the link. Example: My Classifieds HeadlineThe Classifieds: The only place where Skool group owners become the headline - building visibility, collaborations, and confidence to promote their communities with pride. My Ideal Group Member:A purpose-driven Skool owner who’s done waiting to be discovered and is ready to take up space by posting, connecting, and being seen. Remember the rules of engagement: 1. Have fun with it and don't overthink it! 2. Be careful about WHERE to post. I will let you know if you should post in the comments or in a new thread. 3. For every post you make, leave at least 2 comments on other people's posts. It’s not a party unless everyone is involved, so go grab the wallflowers and ask them a question or two!  4. Try to make thoughtful comments and/or ask questions. This is a great opportunity to build relationships and get to know each other - a crucial skill in business. Gifs are fun, but are not considered a comment by themselves. 😉 Make it fun, but also make it work for you. This is a great opportunity to get eyes on your community and what you do as well as build meaningful relationships with other Skoolers! I can't wait to see how you all show up! 😉

Would You Rather....
We had such an amazing call today in the PERSONALS. Yes, it started off a bit awkward (and that was mostly my fault) but the ball got rolling and we were able to have a wonderful conversation about collaboration and engagement (3 members even stayed on the call for an hour after I had to leave - thank you @Alexander Walter for taking the reins!). We do two calls a month - one is what I call and exchange of business cards where we introduce ourselves, what our groups do, and who they are for. It is recorded and the recording is shared with the group (just to be clear, there are no actual business cards...). The other call is a version of what we did today where it is just a casual conversation about a topic of interest. The "business card" exchange is earlier in the day and usually has 20+ people in attendance. The discussion is later in the day and usually has about a dozen people in attendance. What I'm wondering is: is it the time of day that makes the difference or the type of call that makes the difference? My kids are really into the "Would You Rather" game right now, so I thought we could play along too. Please vote in the poll and then explain your answer in the comments below. If you are not attending these sessions because you are not a premium member, please let me know what would be necessary for you to become premium for $3/month. So the question is: Would you rather have two "business card" exchanges each month OR would you rather have the discussion meeting earlier in the day???

@Alexander Walter - Agreed 👍. The ability to connect and really share with each other is very powerful. Was great to connect with you both @Alexander Walter @Jonathan Pickup

@Shannon Boyer - I guess smaller groups offer some benefit, but larger group can be good too. The first part of the conversation was also useful
Looking to Connect Again? Drop In TODAY!
If you've had the opportunity to disconnect over the holidays, you might be looking for a low-key way to re-engage. For 5 hours today, the Classifieds will be hosting a drop-in for premium members. Check the calendar for the times in your time zone. 🙋 What does "drop-in" mean? It means that you might drop in and no one is there or it might mean that ten people are there. 🙋 How can I make sure people are there when I drop-in? Tag someone in the comments here either today or at the time of the drop-in and invite them to join you. Or, post a selfie of the group in the hangout and invite others to join you. It's really what you make of it... 🙋 Why would I want to participate in a drop-in? It's an opportunity to connect casually with other Skoolers with no recording, no agenda, no expectations. You never know who you'll meet and what kind of connections you might make! 🙋 Does it work? Yes! We've done it twice before in this group after a suggestion from @Dee Greene who does it regularly in his own group. If you are someone who just likes to connect with people over a cup of coffee or is open to the possibilities of what authentic conversation can bring, then this is for you. 🙋 Will Shannon be there? There's always the possibility, but I don't commit to a specific time as I want these drop-ins to be more group led and casual (I can be a bit of a buzz kill! 😂). Questions, concerns? Drop them in the comments below. Have you attended in the past? Drop a comment and let others know what the experience was like. Want to connect with someone specific? Tag them in the comments below and invite them to meet up with you at a specific time! Have fun! Want to become a premium member for only $3/month? Check out the possibilities here!

From Climate Confusion to Clarity.
This video is part of the work I’m doing inside Has2BGreen — a Skool community focused on turning climate confusion into clarity and action.
