I Messed Up - We're Changing the Prize System
Hey Audio Artist Academy fam, I need to talk to you about something that's been on my mind. When I introduced the monthly cash prizes for our top members, my intention was to reward your dedication and activity. But honestly? It backfired. I've noticed the energy shift. It feels like some of you have been chasing the money rather than genuinely connecting and helping each other grow. It got to a point where some members even created fake accounts to reward their own posts and climb the rankings faster. That's a huge red flag and completely goes against what we're building here. (Yes, I have proof for this!) I've also seen members leave, and I can't help but think the competitive prize structure and this kind of behavior played a role in that. That's not what this community is about, and I take responsibility for creating a system that encouraged the wrong kind of engagement. So we're making a change - effective immediately. The money prizes are gone. Instead, here's the new monthly recognition for our top 3 most active members: 🥇 1st Place: 30-minute 1-on-1 call with me (feedback session, Q&A, whatever you need) 🥈 2nd Place: Written feedback or voice note on one of your tracks 🥉 3rd Place: Community spotlight - I'll feature your work in a Skool post here and give you some exposure These rewards are about learning, growth, and visibility - not cash. I want this to feel like recognition, not a competition that divides us. Thanks for understanding, and let's get back to what matters: supporting each other and making great music together.

How pathetic!!!
Artists goings business: One tool & service. All covered. Worth it?
Some of you here aren’t just making music — you’re also starting to treat your career more like a business. Maybe you’re teaching, selling courses, offering coaching, or simply looking for better ways to promote your music. Usually, that means juggling way too many things: - Emails & newsletters - Social media content scheduling - Websites, demo reels or landing pages - AI chat bots trained on your content - Client pipeline - Scheduling calls or lessons - Taking payments - Managing contacts, fans, or students - Hosting courses or memberships - Automating almost anything available in the system It’s messy. It’s time-consuming. And honestly, it pulls you away from what you actually want to do: making music. 👉 Now imagine if there was one single tool that handled all of this. Even better: imagine if you could choose between setting it up yourself or having it done for you with personal support. That’s what I want to ask you today: 1. Would you actually find something like this useful? 2. Would you be willing to pay for it — and if yes, how much (monthly/yearly) for the system? 3. What if there is also a "done for you" service available. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts — drop them in the comments 👇

@Peter Sauleda I totally agree. Teaming up with someone else who needn´t to be part of the musical process, but organising the marketing and sales. Alex has done so many great automation "workshops" in the Arist rise course, but I´m still overwhelmed setting it up, adjusting, do some research, finding clients. I definitely need someone. And if a service is about 200 to 400€ a month like Audun told, I reckon I´ll find a student or volunteer to team up with instead of paying for a service. Of course there´re pros and cons to it
Directors want me to "cover" AI-music.
As I´m composing for film, some of my client directors / producers come up with tracks that are created with AI and want me to score it and produce it properly. I get the storyboard, or screenplay and the song / theme. Example: The main theme of the film is a song, that has been created with AI. Now, I´m asked to take this and produce it properly - lengths, hitpoints, instrumentation, real vocals,etc... And it mustn´t cost a thing of course, because the main work has been done already by the director or whoever. This is how it´s argued. I´m NOT happy with this trend.... to put it mildly....! I won´t get royalties and the creative process is outsourced to a maschine. Thank you :-( How do YOU deal with it? Also regarding your rates!? Looking forward to reading your opinions and experiences. Best Marco

@Dave Graham these are 2 quality feature films to be produced for streaming. The stories are absolutely brilliant and the production quality is at the higher end. So it's not an easy decision to decline. I'm concerned about the future developmenta...that's what my statement was supposed to be.

Thank you Ariel for your advice! It's not these two projects but upcoming gigs. I think many more has to face this problem in the future.😬🤷
New Epic Score Album Arrives June 4th - Early-Access to Trailer Music Trailblazers II Opens Today
I’m delighted to let you know that my brand-new twelve-track album for Epic Score is complete and scheduled for release on 4 June. I’ve poured a great deal of care into every cue, and I can’t wait for you to hear the finished work when it goes live next month. To mark the occasion I’m also opening Trailer Music Trailblazers II in early access! The course shell is ready for enrolment today, even though the lesson videos are still being filmed. Over the coming days I’m recording detailed walkthrough videos of the custom (and downloadable) Cubase template I built for the project, along with fresh material on the core techniques I rely on when writing modern trailer music. As soon as the album is officially out, I’ll begin releasing a series of track-focused videos that unpack the creative thinking behind each piece, followed by modules that explore the instruments, used libraries & sounds and plug-ins in more depth. Because this is an early-access window, anyone who already owns Trailer Music Trailblazers I can secure the sequel for a one-time founder price of $97; the fee will increase to $247 once the full curriculum is online. Obviously, if you lock in for $97 now, the price will stay and you will not have to pay anything else additionally. If you’re a member of the Audio Artist Rise Program, both courses remain included in your subscription at NO additional cost (as long as you stay subscribed obviously!) I am also looking forward to personally talk to my Risers and answer all the questions in the weekly live calls. If you’d like to lock in the early-access price, you can enrol here: [Join Trailer Music Trailblazers II] Thank you in advance for your support and for being part of this community — I look forward to sharing the first lessons with you very soon and, shortly after that, lifting the lid on every track in the new album.

CRM Systeme
