Just started the ADHD Awakening Assessment and realized the systems I thought I was failing at (journals, sticky notes, calendars) were never built for my brain. They demand outcomes. My brain runs on freedom. Thirty years of calling myself "messed up" for something that was never a character flaw. Why does this AI assessment make me cry every darn time? Oh yeah, it told me I have been carrying grief with me for decades.

Biggest insight: I'm having trouble accepting that the flaw is in the systems/strategies I'm trying to use rather than in *me*. Micro-task: I struggled with this and then noticed a form that's been sitting on my desk for literal months. Currently feeling: overwhelmed.

I’m curious how old you were when you were diagnosed. I was in my 50s.
