Genuine question - where do you get your AI news from?
i keep switching between sites and still feel like i'm missing things. by the time i find something useful, it's already old news. looking for one solid source (or a tight stack) that covers : models, tools, updates. practical stuff i can apply. not just noise. tbh this community has been one of the better ones so far. but curious what else you're reading. website, newsletter, youtube, discord, anything. what are you using day to day?

I follow a few folks on X and I made this website my landing page whenever I open my browser, and tbh you can just make your AI do it. I can see you make agents to check 5-10 websites and summarize the top trends or whatever! Can be a fun project for you to tackle
MCP or not to MCP that is the question
What are peoples thoughts on MCP's? I seas to me that this whole idea of WMP is to reduce MCP's, Skills, etc. Less reliance on AI and mostly on folder structure? I'm watching a Remotion tutorial and as with many tutorials they throw a bunch of nom commands, want you to install all kinds of skills and MCP servers and whatnot. In this case "Playwright". I have always been hesitant to install things. Even Morse n ow with AI. And with the MCP I don't want to be in. a habit of having all kinds of skills and MCP servers loading when I launch Claude causing it the bloated, sling sown and costing tokens to sift through unnecessary items I may fairly use. This one may be used more if I like it? What are everybody else's thoughts on MCP's and Skills for that matter. Even though @Jake Van Clief says sop building skills does anybody have favorites they feel that can't go without? Anybody else using Remotion? Im not sure what Ill use it for other than for fun right now and just to expand my AI toolbox. :)

For work I made 3 MCP and tbh love it. I barely rdp or ssh to VMS now because of it! But outside of work I am trying just the ICM method and some skills! Codex got Remotion setup for me and I been messing with it! It’s pretty cool but wish it did a little more but for a free product it’s great. Here’s a test I had it make for me to see what can be done.
Get unlimited claude usage for completely free.
You do need at least 1 claude subscription to access claude code in itself, regardless of which one. So how claude's usage works is that it saves all your transcripts and messages locally, that file was never a server side block. So you're basically resetting your usage manually from the log file that claude stores. Don't know how people figured it out. So you need to find your claude local folder and then delete everything except the first line, that's a header. So before you go ahead and do this, you will 100% get banned if you do this. Enjoy! 🤣 (This was for educational purposes only, don't come attacking me for the ragebait!)

make a fake email and use one of your 10s of credit cards or debit card and bam!!! I might try this lol.
It’s the weekend! What’s everyone working on?
One thing I’ve found is there’s no time for true work during the week. So I find myself binging this community, working on side projects, and building out my architecture on the weekends. Would love to hear about some projects you folks are working on! What’s going down this weekend?

I finally got runtime running and playing around making some animations to see if I can make content out of it for social media. :D

@Anton Magurskyi Try using PI. Just got it and so far I am liking the interface. I was suppose to mess with agents but ended up parking that and building an ICM for social media but the agent looked promising
Got a government contact? Lifetime VIP for the connection that works
I handle pipeline and partnerships at Eduba, and I'm asking the room for help on this one. We've got a shot at federal funding to run an AI capability-building pilot inside a public sector agency. Same playbook we've used with Pacific Life, Colgate, and KPMG UK, now pointed at the government workforce. The piece we're missing is the partner. State, county, or federal. An agency with legacy pain, a workforce ready to actually use AI the right way, and a leader willing to try something real. This is grant-funded. No procurement cycle, no sales pitch. The agency gets trained, equipped, and supported. We get to prove the model in public with the people who need it most. Timeline is tight. We need a partner locked in over the next few weeks. If you know someone in a state CIO office, a county agency, a federal program, or anywhere a civil servant is losing sleep over their tech stack, DM me. I'll personally work with you to figure out the best way in, whether that's a three-way intro, a short brief I can send you to forward, or a call with all of us on the line. And if the intro you make is the one that lands the partnership, you get lifetime VIP in the community on us. No cost, ever.

@Matthew Creamer Maybe lifetime + the new program that’s coming out (we assume it’s going to cost $500-$1000). But yeah out of my scope but dam those it sound interesting!!!!!
