Does anyone else think the comfort zone is given a bit of a bad rep?
Am I seriously the only one that sometimes thinks rather than leave it, perhaps we should just make it even more snuggly? Anyone question if it could do with a rebranding at times?

I have found my comfort zone becomes my cage if I let it. I need my familiar to some extent but if I permanently stay there then time passes without any events good or bad and it feels like a waste. I feel humans need interaction and connection of some kind. This is coming from a person who enjoys her own company.

@Kat Mul Yup I have found if I tidy up too quickly then the safe places I put things in just become hiding places and I can't find anything. I have developed systems. However if I am absent minded (qite a bit) then I forget to put things in the designated places and then its panic stations!!!
Embarrassed....
So I'm going to my car, even though I am at home to talk to AI... why do I even feel embarrassed to admit down falls or weakness to AI? I guess Im not even looking for advice.. Just needed to say it out loud.. 🤣🤣🤣 or to you!

I often say things out loud to my self at home so I just pretend I am talking to myself. the lost annoying part is when you hit record and it fails to transcribe and you have to say it all over again 🤣

@Kat Mul whilst I don't have children, I live in a shared house so I get it. The talking to AI bit has been a game changer for me.
New Code. . . . .
NEW CODE: "I am devastatingly effective in the right conditions - with people, motion, meaning, and immediate results. My job is not to fix myself. It is to build my life out of those conditions."

Wow, it makes me really happy to see others here succeeding and having good days!! The smile it brings to my face really impacts my mood in a good way. 😍 I did have a pretty good day today (Tuesday), preceded by a terrible Garfield Monday. (It's a goal of mine to figure out how to work on my dislike of Mondays so I stop subconsciously making myself flare up and feel terrible lol.) I had 2 rehearsals and a live webinar on stress, hormones and inflammation, which was quite disappointing. Got a bit annoyed and down, but came here and turned it around lol. Planning to dive into Day 4 of the challenge soon!

I used to hate Mondays, so I made them bearable by scheduling a weekly get together with friends. Nothing heavy, a meal at each others homes, a little bit of craft whilst watching either a tv series (usually Grey's) or a cheesy film. We have done this now for nearly 20 years. So much so that their children haven't known any different. They call us collectively the Monday Club 🙂
Hello
Hi, my name is Tracy and I live in Ottawa, Canada. It's the Capitol City of Canada and has some extreme weather. Summers have many days where its +30 degrees celsius and winter it can go down to -25 to -30 degrees celsius. I've been diagnosed with adhd when I was 8 yrs old and it was dismissed as "she will grow out of it". I didn't grow out of it and was it rediagnosed at 43 yrs old. I would like to learn how to navigate life easier and improve my life.

Welcome Tracy!! 🙂 I'm 48 and was diagnosed 6 weeks go. It's been a whirlwind of emotions but I am so grateful to this community for providing a safe place for me to figure things out. Everyone is really supportive and it's nice to be in a space with a tribe that just get it !!
