Sunday reset, the Mojo way 🌿
Sundays don’t have to be about doing more. They can be about softening the edges of the week ahead. Today give yourself a permission slip to slow things down a notch. Sit for a moment. Clear the mental clutter. Let a few thoughts gently come to the front instead of rattling around your head. If it helps, make a couple of kind lists: - What movement might feel good this week (not what you should do) - A quick glance in the freezer and cupboards to save future you from the daily “what are we eating?” decision fatigue - One or two small things you’d like to get done so they don’t sit heavy in your mind None of it has to be perfect. This isn’t about control — it’s about taking the pressure off. Maybe you get some fresh air. Maybe you watch that programme you’ve been meaning to catch up on. Maybe you do absolutely nothing for a bit — and that’s productive too. Let today be about you being considered. Plans that support you, not everyone else. Gentle reset. Clear head. Softer start to the week ahead 🤍

Day 4 Tip to Nervous System Regulation
Releasing Emotional Tension (Without Analysing It) If you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or simply feeling emotionally stretched, you might notice that feelings come up quickly — frustration, sadness, irritation — and don’t always make logical sense. That’s because not all emotional stress lives in your thoughts. A lot of it lives in the body. Nervous system regulation isn’t about fixing or understanding every emotion — it’s about giving your body a safe way to release what it’s holding. This can look like: • letting yourself sigh or yawn without stopping it • shaking out your arms or legs for 30 seconds • tapping gently on your chest or collarbone • placing a hand on your body and breathing slowly • allowing emotion to move without judging it You don’t need to relive old stories. You don’t need to “process” everything. Your body often just needs permission to let go. When emotional tension softens, many women notice: fewer emotional spikes less reactivity in relationships more patience with themselves a sense of being more grounded Nothing is wrong with you. Your nervous system has just been doing its best to protect you. Today, see if you can let something move through instead of holding it in.

Day 5 Tip To Nervous System Regulation
Responding Instead of Reacting If you’re in perimenopause or menopause and notice that emotions rise faster than they used to — irritation, tears, frustration, overwhelm — please know this: 💛 It’s not a personality change. 💛 It’s a nervous system under pressure. Hormonal shifts can shorten the gap between feeling and reacting. That doesn’t mean you’re “too much” or losing control — it means your system is working harder to keep you safe. Nervous system regulation gently widens that gap again. Today’s invitation is simple: ✨ Pause before responding ✨ That pause might look like: • taking one slow breath • placing a hand on your body • stepping away for a moment • saying “I need a minute” — and taking it This isn’t about suppressing how you feel. It’s about giving your body time to settle so your response comes from clarity rather than overwhelm. With practice, many women notice: 🌿 fewer emotional spikes 🌿 less regret after conversations 🌿 more self-trust 🌿 improved connection in relationships You’re not failing at this stage of life. You’re learning a new way of being — and that takes kindness and patience. One pause today is enough. 💛

Good quality magnesium supplements have helped me immensely. Feel much better in myself. Am getting better sleep even if I am still waking at silly o'clock for the loo. But finding it easier to return to a deeper sleep.
Today’s lesson: You can have a plan… and then the day can laugh at you.
I had ideas for today. Productive ones. Calm ones. Then the universe sent… plumbers. ✔️ Breathwork session at 10? Only if the plumber arrived at 8am. ❌ Plot twist: I had to take James to school while Nick waited for a plumber who didn’t arrive. Next stop: Mum’s house. Another plumber booked today and the verdict: “Can’t fix the boiler. You need an electrician.” So that was fun. While there, I tried to: – Do Mum’s Morrisons shop – Check she had everything she needed – Submit her self-assessment (failed ❌) – Set up Utility Warehouse (half win ✔️) Back home. Still no plumber. It’s now nearly 1pm. Realised I need to pick James up at 3:20… and the bag I ordered from Next (absolute bargain btw – £10 instead of £50) is in Broughton. So we’re off on a scenic mother-son road trip later. Work done today? Well… I did clear the back cupboard “just in case the plumber needed access” and discovered approximately 1,000 plastic bags, now lovingly bagged up for an Anglo Doorstep charity collection next week. So no, I haven’t done the work. But I’ve done life. And sometimes that’s the job.i If your day didn’t go 9–5 as planned, you’re in good company. We adapt. We juggle. We reroute. And we try again tomorrow. 💛 Now I am calmly drinking my protein shake, while waiting for the plumber!

Think we can all relate to this, I've been waiting for the washing machine engineer for 3 week now. Finally booked in for tomorrow, I hope, as Ive not had any confirmation. So we will not be taking out any more appliance cover with Curry's. 🤯😡 On the plus side to this i get to work from home tomorrow, which means no rushing around like headless chickens in the morning, a little lie in for me and Lozzie before I take her to school. Then fingers crossed the engineer arrives handy so I can get a few wash loads on in between work commitments. Then I get to pick Lozzie up from school, no after school club. So definitely winning at life!!!
