Today’s wrist choice is the Citizen Star Wars Darth Vader Eco-Drive (Death Star edition). A Comic-Con exclusive limited to just 250 pieces, it’s one of those watches that makes you smile every time you glance down. The black case, red accents, and the dial showing both Vader and the Death Star give it that unmistakable dark side presence. Always remember, Sunday brings their parade of hope, but hope is a fragile shield. The dark side does not rest on weekends. Even on Super Hero Sunday, the villains find a way to steal the spotlight.

It’s hot and humid today, so I chose shorts. I know I’m new to the group, but don’t see anyone posting dressed in them. Are shorts generally frowned upon? How do you manage southern heat and humidity?

In my travels this week, I’ve seen more men wearing a sling bag for their belongings. I’m not one to look at that as an option, kinda reminds me of a fanny pick from back in the 80s, but then again a better alternative to wearing cargo shorts and stuffing them full of your belongings, aside from a six pack of beer during a Mardi Gras parade when you’re in your teens, or did I just reveal too much. Just wanted to get y’all’s thoughts on them, I’d be more inclined to just use a small backpack, but that’s just me.
