I Used to Think “Making Money Online” Was Just Hype… Until I Saw How AI Changed the Game
For a long time, I didn’t really believe in online income. I’d tried a few things before, watched the videos, saved ideas… but nothing ever felt consistent or real. At some point, I just assumed it wasn’t for me. Then I had a conversation with someone who was quietly building online, this time using systems and automation instead of doing everything manually. Seeing how things actually worked behind the scenes (especially with AI involved) changed my perspective. So I gave it one more shot… but this time I focused on following a structure instead of guessing. Within a little over a week, I started seeing results. Not perfect, but enough to know I was onto something. That first push ended up being around $2.5k in a week, which honestly surprised me. Since then, it’s grown, but the biggest shift wasn’t just the income… It was realizing how powerful the right systems (and now AI) can be when you actually apply them. Are you guys already building something with AI, or still in the learning phase?
One Calendar Event or Per-Service Events?
Hi everyone, I’m building a voice AI receptionist using Retell AI and I’d like some advice on the best architecture for appointment scheduling. For a business like a dental clinic that offers multiple services (for example: teeth whitening, tooth extraction, consultations, etc.), I’m unsure which approach is better: Option A: Create one general calendar event and one booking function that handles all services. The service type would simply be stored as a field when the appointment is booked. Option B: Create separate calendar events and separate booking functions for each service (e.g., one for teeth whitening, another for tooth extraction, etc.). The same design question also applies to other functions such as: - check_availability -reschedule_appointment -cancel_appointment From a scalability and system design perspective, which approach do you recommend and why? Thanks in advance for your insights.

I’d lean more toward one general calendar with the service type as a field (Option A). It’s usually easier to scale and maintain since everything runs through the same logic, and you’re not duplicating functions for each service. You can still customize things like duration or availability based on the service inside the workflow. Separate events can work, but it might get messy as you add more services. are you planning to handle different time lengths per service as well?

@Tim Hansen Hey, nice connecting with you. Are you more into AI automation, SaaS, or client services?
Need some suggestions on this Signal Analyzer
My cold emails were failing. My “personalization” was too. “Loved your post…” = ignored. So I built a signal-based system instead: Hiring spikes Product launches Role changes Real problems across the internet Now it’s: Saw you’re hiring fast — scaling issue? That gets replies. Core is done. Still improving hiring signals. Would mind sharing what signals could get some replies in your niche?
