The Cost Of Moving From Good To GREAT
Most people settle for good - Good business - Good service - Good team - Good results And they think that’s enough But here’s the truth “Good is the enemy of Great” That’s Stephen Covey And most people never get past good Not because they can’t Because they don’t realise how close they already are The gap between good and best Is rarely huge It’s marginal - A bit more discipline - A bit more consistency - A bit more attention to detail But the return Is exponential When you move from good to best → You attract better people → You build stronger loyalty → You stand out in a crowded market → You stop competing on price → You become known for something And here’s the big one: Your business becomes worth more Not slightly more Massively more Because buyers don’t pay premiums for “good” They pay premiums for → Market leaders → Category leaders → Best-in-class operators So ask yourself Where are you settling for good? Where are you close to great But not quite pushing through? Because the difference between good and best Isn’t time It’s standards Raise them ...And everything changes 👍

Wake Up, Get up, Get going...
End of March. For most UK businesses, that means one thing: New (tax/business) year. Not January. Now. You get a second shot. Most people set goals in January. Start strong. Good intentions. Then reality hits: → Around 80–90% have already dropped those goals by now → Most couldn’t even tell you what they wrote down So here’s the real question: What are you actually going to do differently this time? Because nothing changes unless you do. Clarity. Expectation. Plan. ...That’s what moves things forward. I work on 3-year maps. But it always starts the same way: 90 days: Focused. Intentional. No drift. So as we move into April… What are you committing to? What have you been putting off? What have you been avoiding that you know needs to start today? Procrastination is the mother of failure: - Not lack of knowledge. - Not lack of opportunity. Delay. If you’re serious about changing your trajectory, this is your moment. Not next week. Not next month. Now.

Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Dinner last night!
@Mike Greene brought huge energy to the room at the dinner last night with the fireside chat with Kevin Byrne, founder of Checkertrade and it was a lovely evening with Growth Syndicate members @Betsy Wong and @Kate Ashley-Norman The takeaways I gained were inspiring, snapshot were: 1. You don’t always need an investor that once scaled lose enormous equity, and can lead to “discussions’. 2. You can love your passions (oh there’s another carp!) those in the room will know. 3. You can have faith and carry it with you. 4. Helping community can affect positively and be very humbling to help others. 5. You can have the energy and passion to go again (Kevs trades) Thanks to all for a great evening, with no call this morning headed outside and in reading Mike’s book, relearnt the transition maps, it is not about the start, it is about where you end up which was really powerful 👊

Free WEBINAR - Turn Pressure into Performance
FREE Webinar Turn stress into profit. ..and Pressure into Performance Pressure isn’t the problem. Most of you don’t have enough of the right pressure. You have too much of the wrong kind. The kind that: → Keeps you busy, not productive → Clouds your thinking → Slows decisions down → Drains your energy → Filters straight through your team Used properly… Pressure creates: → Focus → Clarity → Action → Results Left unmanaged… It becomes stress. And stress is where businesses start leaking money. Quietly. Not in a big dramatic collapse. But in: → Poor decisions → Missed opportunities → Slower execution → Burnt out teams → People checking out mentally The worst part? Most founders don’t even realise it’s happening. Because it feels normal. That’s exactly what we’re breaking down in this session: → How to channel pressure into performance → How to turn stress into something productive → The early warning signs most leaders miss → And how to build growth without burning yourself or your team out I’ll be delivering this alongside Katie Maycock 📅 Monday 30th March ⏰ 7pm BST If you’re serious about performance… Not just staying busy… You’ll want to be on this. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87496479424?pwd=K6JdyBrUzMRqwWGunIC1EaLdIxXTv7.1

Launch'ish 1st April 2026
Hi All, Its been a minute, head down - full steam ahead, I do hope everyone is good and you are winning? Ive beeing working on a large number of products that are now fully functional, you cant see them until the 1st April but please do come visit. We eventually got our approval for the National Trading Standard Approved Organisation and working closely with the Police's Cyber Resillience Center (and a new one - very close) we are now best placed to make a huge impact of fraud/scams across the entire country and beyond. I wanted to pop in and thank @Mike Greene for the support over the months - ive listened very closely and together with others has propelled my mindset ready for whats to come. With a ADHD brain its been hard to link clarity and focus, but got there in the end. (https://SCAMAdvisory.net) Thanks all, Phil
