Monday Update
The past week was such a blur but I found myself constantly coming back to the BBB community to read updates and keep me going. Coming here was a happy pocket i reached for when things got heavy. The community became an anchor same as walking, mobility workouts and rest. Win from the past week: - Was able to emotionally and physically show up for my friend during grief. - Upped my walk time (doubled it by the end of the week) - Chose to be kind to myself and make space for grief rather than overload myself with long to do lists. Paused starting the 5 day sprint and a few classes because i wasn't able to be present. - Spent the weekend with my parents and planning out the week to come. - Also reached a new lowest weight, stayed there for 3 days 🥳 Happy Monday 😊

I have low bone density… for reference a re-fractured foot took me over 2 years to fully recover from. I’m committed to getting stronger and not using this as an excuse. Do you have workout suggestions to start with?
February Winners! Shoutout time 🏆
I want to recognize a few people who quietly put in the work this month. Steadily showing up, involved, and actually applying things. That’s what these monthly prizes are about! So here are February’s standouts: (And if you don’t see your name here, don’t overthink it. This rotates. Keep showing up.) 🥇 1st Place: @Terri Nakamatsu You were consistent and showed up to every Q&A. I’ll be sending you a private Loom breakdown of your week — check your DMs soon. 🥈 2nd Place: @Crissy Hung You showed up! You’ll get a personalized roadmap + custom calories/macros. 🥈 3rd Place: @Octavia Teo Been loving your long updates! You’ll get a personalized roadmap + custom calories/macros. Your presence in here mattered. I only chose 3 winners this month -- looking for more newer members to step up and engage. This is for YOU after all ❤️ Also, we are now RANKED #20 in the "Health" category for the entire Skool platform!! Thank you everyone! Let’s keep building. On to March 👊

Day 5
Today was supposed to be Day 5 where I post a picture and tell you what I am excited about. But nothing is ever convenient and goes as planned. I got up this morning and worked out per my usual routine and then headed to work. However, I found out that my 17 year old son crashed in his ski competition today and he had to go the med center. It was a rough day of trying work while waiting, anxiety, mom guilt for not being with my kid when he got hurt, and just general sadness. I eventually found out that he has a torn meniscus in his knee and is out for the rest of the ski season which is a total bummer. Anyway, the day was kind of a bust and I didn’t get a picture. However, I am down some calories due to the fact I couldn’t stomach to eat anything after breakfast today. I’m sure that will hinder me tomorrow when I go for a run. But hey… that’s tomorrow’s problem. I’m am off to get at least 10 hours of sleep. That’s the goal!

Sending you lots of love and strength and wishing your son a healthy and speedy recovery. 💜
My Inner B*tch was LOUD Today 📣
Did my first solo Hyrox competition today. If you want to learn about the race, here's a short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN-n8t8d2bA Anyways. It was hard. My inner b*tch was extra loud today. "Who's going to notice if you just quit?" "This is just a warm-up for Bangkok's race, you don't need to go that hard." "Your cramps are only going to get worse" Typical stuff that goes on in one's brain when going through shit 💩 But we've been here before. We've been deep in the trenches. We do hard things on the regular. I've kept enough promises to myself during tough times, so this time it wasn't any different. This is default now. Endure. One step in front of the other. Exercise what my body is capable of. What a gift! I finished in 1 hr 20 min with no injuries... win! 41st in my age group (35-39 yrs) Onto the next one! #dohardthings
