Artists goings business: One tool & service. All covered. Worth it?
Some of you here aren’t just making music — you’re also starting to treat your career more like a business. Maybe you’re teaching, selling courses, offering coaching, or simply looking for better ways to promote your music. Usually, that means juggling way too many things: - Emails & newsletters - Social media content scheduling - Websites, demo reels or landing pages - AI chat bots trained on your content - Client pipeline - Scheduling calls or lessons - Taking payments - Managing contacts, fans, or students - Hosting courses or memberships - Automating almost anything available in the system It’s messy. It’s time-consuming. And honestly, it pulls you away from what you actually want to do: making music. 👉 Now imagine if there was one single tool that handled all of this. Even better: imagine if you could choose between setting it up yourself or having it done for you with personal support. That’s what I want to ask you today: 1. Would you actually find something like this useful? 2. Would you be willing to pay for it — and if yes, how much (monthly/yearly) for the system? 3. What if there is also a "done for you" service available. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts — drop them in the comments 👇

1. I think it would be really hard to say that a tool like this wouldn’t be absolutely useful. 2. In my case it is not a matter of how much I’d be willing to pay but *how much I would be able to pay and remain within the parameters of my general financial responsibilities. 3. The choice of self-setup (which depends on IT skills and knowledge) and “done for you” is a tricky one. To me, aside from IT skills, it represents a sort of balance between variables like ego, control, energy commitment vs laziness and other little abstract conditions of human nature. You hit the nail on the head for me with your list and the statement: “It’s messy. It’s time-consuming. And honestly, it pulls you away from what you actually want to do: making music.” Despite my current lingering (but improving) health situation in the last four days alone I chalked up circa 50+ (hard fought) hours of contracted contact time and chasing my tail for many of the items on that list. My goal is to continue to fight to scale my occupational skills and knowledge. *Partly in order to be able to invest more into the fight to do so increasingly. What came first the chicken or the egg? So “messy and time consuming” yes! Anything to help clean up that mess? Great! How much to charge? *How much can I justify to pay in my circumstance I guess….. The truth is money is tight right now. I don’t know if this is any help but it is my honest opinion.

Well the truth is I’m a little embarrassed to say, cause I’m just a little guy. I look at it like my Site Sell Solo Build it (SBI) Account. It provides me nearly everything I’ve needed to quickly construct a website (without coding). Which I did quite a while ago and has been quite neglected for quite a while I must admit. In any case I now pay US$ 365.00 for a year to use all their tools and I’m only scratching the surface. The site, without me doing anything, for far too long, still gets 1.5 to 2k visitors a month and the associated YT channel still averages about 4.5k views a month. So, I’m saying all this because I feel I’m getting a lot for my investment. I know there are people with multiple SBI site subscriptions which is probably how they make their high-ticket money. It does bring me a lot of face to face business and it is now in the mix for trying to scale for sure. Right now, I’m selling my time and the world has gone crazy expensive. So, between Skool and SBI and YT (now that I’m back) I’m hoping reach to the point where I can invest more. For now, I’m just an acorn. I’d be looking at a similar number as above per year. I hope ya’ll don’t kick me out now…
Fret School Club Launch
Well I've been a bit quiet for a while with a few projects and medical issues, but have been working steadily toward my SPP project and have just launched my own Skool community: Fret School Club. It's a beginner to intermediate guitar help group. I invite anyone who wants to have a look and give me some feedback or join if you think it will be of help to you in any way. Thanks https://www.skool.com/fret-school-club/about

Finally Moving – New Studio, More Privacy! 🎉
After years of struggling with a lack of space, we’re finally moving to a new apartment! 🥳 The best part: my studio will have an actual wall separating it from my husband’s home office! But now, I’ve got some questions and concerns: 🟡 Marble floors & acoustics – How bad are they for sound? Would a large rug covering the entire studio floor be enough, or should I add click-together engineered wood flooring on top? 🟡 Studio layout – Would you position monitors facing the kitchen or the bathroom? (Got a bit of a layout dilemma here.) 🟡 Extra soundproofing – I’m thinking about adding an extra door in the corridor for better isolation (see pink/yellow lines in the picture). Worth it? 🟡 Neighbors above & below – Should I invest in soundproofing panels for the ceiling to keep the peace? Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance for your advice and ideas! /Migova ❤
