Ab Program
Is there a video on abdominal exercises? I've been piecing together different approaches trying to fine tune a routine I can use each time I'm working out. Trouble is, at the end of a 2 day routine - say chest, shoulders, triceps then 2nd day back and biceps I've run out of gas! So I've managed to work a couple of exercises - a goblet weight in a chair position and kneeling crunching with a pulley. Still sorting this out.

Thanks, Keith! At the moment I'm on a 2 day program - Day# 1 - Chest, shoulders and triceps and Day#2 Back and biceps. Mix in some abdominal exercises to round out my forays to the gym, 3 times a week. In addition, I've take up YOGA 3 times a week and jump in the pool after my yoga classes. So I alternate between the activities with Saturday being the only non-exercise day. I've looked at the diet you recommended and am curious about the inclusion of 4 additional egg whites in the breakfast meal. Are we talking about basically a 7 egg breakfast (4 without yolks)? Are the egg whites mixed into the scrambled eggs? I know you mentioned 'not being able to out-train a bad diet.' I'm not sure I can eat that much!

The quick answer is no, with an explanation. I started a walking routine last April (3X's a week for an hour) to lose weight - lost nearly 50 lbs. In the fall I started a Tai Chi class and enrolled in a gym and swimming program. I cut out a lot of bad food from my diet. Now I'm at the stage where I can better monitor my intake under Keith's program. So I'm making haste slowly. I understand the value of this exercise. I am adjusting to the new norm, with very, very few exceptions.

Good to see so many of you doing a fitness routine in the dead of winter! Shovelling snow and going to the gym afterwards is not my idea of an ideal start to the day! But I'm persevering. I have a 2 day routine; 1st day chest, shoulders, triceps and day 2 is back and biceps. I alternate every other day, basically 3 times a week. I love the low weight/high volume reps. I'm definitely feeling the pump. Best of all, I focus on the mind-muscle connection while I'm working out. No distractions, no phone. I've written out my routines on paper. It's old school but I prefer it over the new tech. Still trying to figure out my lower body routine. With both hips replaced I have to be careful. REALLY careful.😉

@Joseph Gulbenkian Yessir! Started a regiment a few weeks back. Starting to see some gains and making me very thirsty in the gym!
