Took my car on a final drive
Not sure if the is right place for this. But I am feeling all the feels right now. We are selling my car. It’s 2010 Scion tC. I bought it when I was 22. It was my first “adult” purchase. I haven’t driven her much lately. She had just sat in the driveway or on the street. She isn’t baby/toddler friendly and I just feel more comfortable in our Venza now. So it is time for her to find a new home. I’ve been ready to sell her for a while now and we finally have had the time to sit down and start the process but driving her today made me feel a little sad. I cried pulling up to the house. I wasn’t anticipating that. But here’s to all the great wonderful memories I have had with her and to a new chapter. First photo was taken today. The last three are from the day I drove it home from the dealer.

Aaahhh. It is such a bittersweet moment when you have to let something go. I remember when we had to replace my Forester. I didn't get much time to say good bye. It my husband's usual fashion we were just going to look at a car turned into buying a new one. I remember the sadness cleaning it out at the dealership. I still miss it sometimes.
Simple stretching
I decided to start the day with some simple stretching. Of course I had to get a head cold this week so any more than that just seemed too much. I wanted to workout the 2 previous days but I decided to listen to my body and rest. I am struggle with motivation lately and I think it it because I am not enjoying my workouts. I was doing track Pilates but it just didn't enjoyable to me. What is everyone else doing lately?

@Amanda Steele Thanks. I have to say it is pretty slow and changing to bands is a bit annoying. Let me know if you do try it.
Needed Movement
Decided to start the day with some energy activation with Elise in slow burn lava. I love this mini program. I needed something that was easier but also challenging. I even had a workout buddy that made herself comfy on the fuzzy blanket. I was a bit jealous. Off to get the rest of the day started.

Fun Discussion
So, a little bit of context for this friendly debate. I am a contractor for the USDA with my company. I am one team and a colleague of mine is on another. Both our team leaders, who are federally employed with USDA, have been furloughed since Oct. 1. Today, I got a check in email from my team leader. He mentioned in his email that he got all his Christmas lights hung on the house. So, I know we all have different opinions on this, but I figured this would be a fun discussion as well. How early do you like to start decorating for Christmas or other December holidays you may celebrate?

We usually decorate Thanksgiving weekend or the weekend after that. It just depends on schedules.

I totally agree. We have to think 3 holidays in advance at this point.
Promises and Change
This momma needed this workout this morning. The house has been crazy just taking care of everyone but on top of that yesterday we found out that they decided to do a reorganization of the company. It did not go the way any of thought that it would for our department. Luckily no one in our department lost their job but it still was a shock. I am still trying process it myself. This workout allowed me to let some of the tension out for a bit. Off to see what happens next. PS. I also kept a promise to myself and worked out all 5 days this week.

@Krista Evans Ooff not sure I would move without a guarantee of a job. Promises are key to everything though we also have to give grace when needed to. Definitely need to adjust my habits.

@Amie Becker My goal is 4 workout for sure with a stretch/relaxation day. I am trying to finish up the last week of Track Pilates. I am not sure what I want to do next. Are you doing the Power of 4?
