Got a Friday song?
This morning on Early I heard Eva say she didn't have a Friday song but if she did it would be Loverboy "Working for the Weekend".. Got me thinking what my Friday song would be.. What would your's be?

Also literal but true for me. "Friday I'm in Love"
Songs that feel like hope
Title says it all. What song (currently - no wrong answer, repeat answers allowed) feels like hope to you? For me, right now, it's this track called "Hold On" by French 79. This came out in.. 2020 I think? maybe 2019, but regardless, it was there for 2020. The whole album was there, but this song in particular. There was more than just COVID going on for for me, which I could go into, but not tonight. Point being, this song was there for me. I just now pulled up the video for the first time so I could post it here, and holy shit but this even hits harder. I was totally a skater as a kid, and even rode goofy foot. Nostalgia and hope wrapped into one. Perfect. Post your track too if you can - I wanna hear it all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgBBCzi7Kpc

Well this just came on and it made me feel happy and hopeful. Dreaming of shiny happy people holding hands. R.E.M. "Shiny Happy People" with Kate Pierson from B-52s.

Church & State - Brandi Carlile
Favourite song right now…
It’s Jacky by Bleech 9:3. It is such an earworm. I inadvertently discovered this band by way of Wunderhorse back in 2023. Basht were the opener and the guitarist in Bleech used to be in Basht, anyway, yeah. Good stuff on repeat.

More favorites?
I'm not sure how we're supposed to use this forum, but I was watching a Radiohead video and it made me think about my favorite one -- this is the first time I ever heard of Radiohead, it was on MTV Beach House, playing Creep. It seemed like the audience had no idea what they were going hear. The sound of the guitars is just fantastic. I love the crunchiness.
